So much rain, everywhere but there, and here in Hotchkiss Colorado. But we started out good. I pray you get something soon, and good wet winter.

A lot of the Midwest is dry even though we had a great spring and summer. Flooding in other parts which was sad to see.

Sure do not like the lack of rain. Glad you are getting more calves. The neighbor's bull is one big boy, geesh. Impressive looking herd. Great video as usual. Thanks.

Just got a quarter of an inch yesterday and it looks like we’ve got some rain coming in the 10 day forecast 🤞. Yes he sure is big!

Big ol Charolais best fence jumpers out there
@FarmandHammer2 ай бұрын
He went through a 5 strand barbed and a woven wire fence to get to the cows 😂. Not sure if he jumped them or just tore through them lol
@reeceedwards25092 ай бұрын
Do Charolais like to jump fences you have experienced?
@Jaidyn-ep6vz2 ай бұрын
@@reeceedwards2509 usually only at pasture when the fences aren’t great like a one or two strand Hotwire. We don’t own the pastures, so we normally just try to have the people that rent it to us make us neighbors with other people that breed to Charolais bulls because tbh a bull is gonna be a bull

Well it least it was a nice bull and not a Scottish Highlander or a Dexter or a zebu LMAO.. Good video ..

Yessir! Better than the other neighbors mini Hereford dexter cross that got in a couple of years ago.
@johnhurt47922 ай бұрын
I hope there aren’t any heifers out there, because you would have been better with Dexter cross bull. Charlois calves have a high bw and large heads, horrible first calve for the heifers to have.

@FarmandHammer2 ай бұрын
He’s a big charolais! We don’t see many British whites around here. One of my friends up in Wisconsin still has a Brit white bull. Makes some pretty neat lookin calves.

@@FarmandHammer yeah we are looking for a new bull might consider a British white park or Charolais

That is correct haha. Just heard something on the local news about it being the longest we’ve gone without rain.

Thats where I would charge the neighbor for his damages. Then maybe he would realize he better get things fixed.
@FarmandHammer2 ай бұрын
That’s just something that happens. Not his fault the bull went through two different fences. No need to charge him, just need to get the fences repaired and watch for a calf or two out of season next summer.
