Your paintings are moody, dynamic, and are completely relatable. Always beautiful. I love dreary, rainy days. I actually get SAD in the summer. I really dislike that big yellow ball in the sky, especially if it's hot. I absolutely love your work and I think I'm going to try it. I'm detail oriented. Love photorealism. But photorealism in watercolor is much more difficult than in oil or acrylic. Time to get loose! Your paintings make my heart very happy.

Every time I am amazed by the end result! Do you consider the sketching to be part of the picture? i don't mean part of the process but part of the overall look of the piece? i.e. if you didn't have the sketch and painted the same exact thing, would that be different than what you are going for? Also, was the paper dry when you started adding the details to the people? thank you!

How do you get that "chalky" look on some of the colors? Do you use white Gouache or are some of your watercolors actual gouache colored? Thank you for being so generous with your art! Love all your videos! 👍😊
@niazhannanwatercolors2 ай бұрын
@@sylvia4425 Thank you! All my colors are watercolor from brands like daniel smith, schminche, helbein, aquatone, mission gold. I use a white gouache for the highlights at the end..but sometimes i mix a bit of different colors to make it colored highlights!

a bit late w/ the premiere but I love this! did you use gouache w/ the skin tone or they're just really thick watercolor paint from daniel smith?
@niazhannanwatercolors2 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes i did mix white gouache with red for the skins. Dont forget to read the description. It will help you understand what i mean by “they painted themselves”

You are so proficient with what you do that all your paintings feel like they paint themselves 😊. But in comparison to all your other paintings, this is my least favourite. I felt like the proportion of the dark was too much and that of the detailed parts was too less. This may just be based on just my personal taste.
