Thanks for the soulfull video. i've never had a lot of people in my social circle, mostly 2-3 friends im very close to. I dont think i can hande more than 5 people around me (except family), and recently i didnt have power to connect even to them. This month was very hard studying-wise and i had a lot of times when i had no energy left for social stuff after the day. I got so enclosed in a span of one month that the only conversations i had were either forced or purely technical. Im on my second year of uni and i often feel overwhelmed by socialising. I dont have problems with communicating, i talk freely and widely, finding a theme for talking to mostly anyone, but i can do that for like 1-2 hours a day and then i feel like i spent all of the energy for the day. The more closer the person im talking to, the easier it gets, but it is almost never effortless. I hope that this month it'll get better, and i'll try to reconnect to people that matter to me.

I've started high school and I don't really understand how social interactions work, but I think this idea of experimenting and trying to do new things and actually meet people could seriously help me. I had 2 guys i was really good friends with throughout 5th-8th grade, unfortunately both went to other schools and now I'm stuck with a bunch wnose interests are polar opposites of mine. I have almost no common ground with almost anyone and because of the bad habit of mumbling to myself that i developed and failed to get rid of in quarantine, people seem to think i am in a completely different realm of existence. If I want not to be the quiet kid, I'd have to abandon most of my character, get new hobbies, install those social media sites where all you do is that you swipe up and play nothing but fortnite for the rest of my youth because nobody else is flexible enough to try new things.

hey man, its not hopeless, i promise. I thought it was freshman year and pretty much only hung out with one friend and my girlfriend then she broke up with me and it felt hopeless - left with nothing - but i just did what i wanted to do. Try doing what you want to do outside of school, or find a cool teacher and try to make a club for an interest you have. Just know that you can find at least one other person that will be cool with you and you can find a friend in. Never compromise who you are in order to find people, because those people dont care who you are. good luck man and i wish you the greatest.

Same problem with the self talk. Except that my “best friend” was a toxic two faced person. I don’t have any common ground with anyone in school really, but let me tell you if you go to a specific hobby club in your city or town. God damn it is refreshing to find people who are to a certain level like you. Also don’t feel the urge to act different to be accepted, I tried and it didn’t feel so good. Love mate ❤.

I definitely used to be a massive introvert. I'm still an introvert, but we're talkin' stand in a corner alone and just watch other people talk to eachother until I get to leave. It sucked. I didn't think anything of it at the time. I see now that I was too content. Now I'm happy. I had to work for it. I had to go out of my way to learn about people, and all the awful drama and everything that comes with that. It was totally worth it, though. I try to be friendly to as many people as I can be. My hope is that if I were to see you, I may not actually want to talk to you at all, but I at least want you to feel like you could talk to me. I think that mindset has gotten me out of a lot of dark places and troubles I was heading towards before.

Well. I was always shy. Never liked the fact that i need to talk to people if i wanted to order something etc. etc. It was like that till 2022 when i finally started to somehow like people, going through 2023 i was really social and stuff but at the end of 2023 i came back to being a shy introvert due to my mental problems. Now in 2024 i became a punk/thrash metal and honestly it helped me a lot. I dont have a problem talking with strangers nor my far family. I became the weird kid, instead of a quiet kid. Nowadays i just laugh at people, talk to them and became more friendly. It doesnt mean anything to you readers, but to me... it sometimes sums up my introvert life. Altough im still a little introvert inside hehe
