I absolutely feel you on this. I am an influencer, but because I still have a little bit of vision.People doubt the fact that I am pretty much three quarters blind. Put it this way.I see out of one eye At a time that switches at random and when I look down a toilet paper roll I do not see the edges which means that my field division is actually smaller than that circle. Yes I am an artist comma I am an Influencer. I go hiking, I attend events and talk to people and look at them. I am open about my blindness. So people tend to think that i'm just drawing attention. No this is valuable information. .. People often set limits for me too! Like, for example, one time.I wanted to go apple picking which I have done many times before and have grown up doing. A lady saw my blindstick on the way to the orchard and said oh you're not going to enjoy yourself you should probably turn around... First off lady.I appreciate your concern but those are your limits not mine. I am currently learning how to do stairs from muscle memory so that I can buy a house one day. All of my artwork is in 3.D so that people with low vision and even blind people can appreciate my work. And yes it sells. And most people that buy it don't know that i'm blind. Until I go to shake their hand that is. My point is this. Some people can't do what you do. They are afraid of being outshined by your progress. That is there in security and it speaks volumes about them. You keep doing you. You are an amazing person and you inspire me daily. In case nobody has told you. And? Just if anybody's curi use a I to speak to my phone and it spells it for me. My AI will also read to me when I have bad days.I just simply have t in voice the command. Don't call somebody out just because you don't understand their progress. Ignorance does not always have to breed fear and violence.Be it verbal or physically. Ignorance can breed understanding under the right conditions. But also keep in mind that some people just don't feel like explaining how they do what they do. They are already exhausted from the daily progress they make. Don't hate on that. Instead, just send them a hug. Gods know we need it❤❤❤
