The love for saima akram ali chaudhary 's writing started 2 years back. From Chennai in South India ,i was doing my higher studies in delhi. I was just trying to master the language ( am a non hindi/hindustani speaker) to converse better with my patients. The best idea i got from my teachers was to watch pakistani dramas ( short episodes, more similarity with the language spoken in delhi). I started with humsafar , then one day for a flight journey, downloaded 2 episodes of suno chanda 1 . came home from flight and binge watched suno chanda. Then was eagerly waiting for the daily KZbin upload of suno chanda 2. I ll sleep at 11.30 daily after finishing it. This year , the premiere of chupke chupke starts at 10.30 pn ist .i see it ,then immediately watch ishq jalebi and then sleep by 11.45. now spreading the info abt the writing of saima akram ali chaudhary to the friends in a south Indian city of Coimbatore , which may be many thousand miles apart from lahore or karachi. Let the love progress between two nations.

If you like such series, do watch "Azer ke aye gai baraat" "Dolli ke aye gai baraat and" aini ke aye gai baraat". These are not only full of comedy but touch some serious issues too. You wouldn't find any cringe or loose science. Acting, story , editing everything is perfect. "chupkay chupkay" is really good but there are so many loope holes in editing and some direction side but the above mentioned series didn't have these issues so you will enjoy them even more.

The way Ishq Jalebi is written is outstanding. The use of names of different sweets address by the grandfather is so likable. Balushahi is a sweet that can stay fresh for the longest of time and can be eaten and loved by everyone . So apt for the character Bela who is loving and caring. Petha is truly considered as a sasti , sunder , tikau mithaai but can come handy and so it fits Wahaj's role as Basim is sweet but not liked much by all. Plus he is used also . Barfi is sweet and fresh and laddu is nice gol gol can be made easily at home and so is Vicky lovable, endearing and homely kind of person. So much thought has gone into this kind of fabulous writing. Really enjoy the one liners by Aashiq Hussain . Simply hilarious.

@@S_Parveen It is good to have quality dramas of different genres airing at the same time. DNUTN and Raqeeb se, remain my favourites but I am enjoying Chupke Chupke and Ishq Jalebi as well. It is not easy to create humour. Wit is a gift from Allah, and to make some one laugh is not easy in today’s time. Good comedy should be appreciated.

Yes, Amna has improved a lot. In her earlier interviews I always felt that she made the guest uncomfortable, made the interview pretentious with the guest trying to speak English needlessly in an effort to impress. Amna appeared too intellectual, creating embarrassment at times. I remember when she asked Hira and Affan about what their friendship meant.

Just saw chupke chupke and suno chanda 1 and 2 within a week!! Really think suno chanda deserves season 3 because there is lot more scope in the series!
