Whenever the Hermits play this, it’s apparent how much more they have interacted with each other the more the seasons have gone on. They don’t have trouble with the older seasons just because they were longer ago, but also because they interacted with each other less in older seasons. Now on Season 10, it seems like they are all building right next to each other, and constantly bumping into to each other and interacting all the time, and you’ve got things like all the Hermits around Magic Mountain planning out the connections between all of their bases within the mountain. Opening with demise also seemed to get everyone traveling around to everyone else’s base locations right off the hop, so I hope we get some more server wide games like that (and the Easter egg hunt, etc.) throughout the season.

I feel like that might just be season 10 in general too, they all seem to be focusing more on having fun with each other and less on builds and grinding, while that is still happening and we will most likely get more of it as the season continues, it seems more hermits are getting more comfortable with posting an episode even if there isn’t any big building happening.

That was especially the problem in season 5. Everyone was just building mega bases thousands of blocks apart, and they even banned shopping!! That season died a slow death, luckily they fixed the biggest problems in season 6, which even made it the longest season ever at the time

Yeah, I love how interactive recent seasons are. It also feels like the mass adoption of Elytra and higher render distance also really changed the game on how connected and interactive the server feels.

I’ve crazy to think about how I’ve watch Season 7, 8, 9 and now X (10). I sadly missed Season 6 as I discovered it near to the end of the season, so I watched all of the Sahara videos only and then went from there start of Season 7 onwards. Wasn't plastic fantastic season 5? With Ren's computer chip thing and you right next with the Gast portal and the Mario pipe to your base with a candy land and the diorite volcano??? Mumbo had a garden base and impulse has weird vortex build. Looked like they missed that entire section.

The season 5 map wasn't compatible with my software and needed to be loaded into a new version of minecraft and have the chunks reprocessed, I chose to generate the central area and NHO Jungle for time and space constraints.
