The level curve was a LOT better in other games. The Johto games, and their remakes, were held back by that sandbox approach destroying their level curve. Platinum and Emerald are a lot better about letting you raise a *team* as opposed to one monstrosity.

I prefered the games when they were actually somewhat difficult, you'd be hard-pressed to find that in any of the recent games since maybe Black / White, the latest games Sword / Shield doesn't even have puzzles. Also catching all the Pokemon has its own purpose but no it's not relevant to completing the story and you can't do it without both versions of the game or a friend anyway.

Pretty good video all together, I think it's great you are trying to branch out and seek other types of content. A few things I picked up on the way watching this video was the pacing and setting of some bits. Generally I felt going from "Emotional" to memes and so on felt a bit out of place at times and the transition between both to also analytical was a bit much packed into one video. This video tried to do a lot of things and I think if you proceed to branch out into this kind of content more you could master it pretty quickly! Either way if you think this criticism applies or not I still enjoyed the video!
