Jiji and Aira are basically facilitators, they push Okarun and Momo to be more honest with their feelings by being polar opposites. Aira is more cutsy and does the "openly adoring" thing that gets Momo jealous, and Jiji is extra and loud, the complete everything that Okarun sees himself not being. It's a much better choice than a love triangle that will never resolve or that muddies the main coupling that the viewer knows is fate.

Jiji can be a bit much, it's basically just as schtick he puts on. He likes to be a class clown and make everyone laugh. But he's genuinely very friendly and caring towards everyone to.

Honestly the grandma being a grandma isn't that surprising imo, she's probably in her late 50's, I mean look at Angelina Jolie, she's 49 and is a complete smokeshow to this day. If both she and her daughter got pregnant after turning 18, and Momo is presumably 16, the youngest grandma could be is about 54. It's unlikely she's actually 54, probably more 56-59 but still.

Unlike zenitsu i actually grew to love Jiji! I don't think there is a character in the team i don't like besides one I'm just ok with. Can't wait for the arcs coming in S2!

Penultimate is a good word, can't argue with that. And you use it correctly, so that's nice. As far as we know, Seiko is Momo's grandmother. Jiji might not have known that, it might not have come up when they were little. Jiji and Aira call Seiko "auntie" just as a show of respect. Can't very well call her by her first name. --------------------- Unless they do something insane and try to cram an entire arc into one episode this cour will end in the middle of an arc. Dandadan is one of the anime that will be present at Jump Fest later this week, so we're expecting an _official_ announcement for the second cour there.

He literally is himself; his character comes from his parents, and is a direct reflection of his upbringing. He isn't putting up a facade lol, in fact, out of the 4 of them (so far introduced), he's miles more genuine than Ken/Okarun, Aira and Momo. We've had Jiji forever in the manga, so if you're anime only, just wait. He is, quite literally at this point in the story, the only one of the 4 main characters, who IS himself.
