As an able bodied dancer who works at a zoo sometimes doing entertainment, I love dancing with guests in wheelchairs. It honestly can make the dance more dynamic and interesting. Thank you for what you’re doing to make the dance world more inclusive!!!

I been in a wheelchair a couple years and one thing I really miss is Dancing Someone told me the other day that I was a good dancer and they enjoyed. Watching me dance. I guess I’ll have to learn to dance a whole new way.

Today is a bad day and I have just woken up. I had another dream that I could walk. I suppose we all go through it; if only this or that I would still be walking. In my case, if only the doctors had listened I would not have lost the use of my legs. I tell myself that doesn't matter anymore, what matters is now and dealing and living with my bodily changes, and those that are still to come through surgeries that I need. It's knowing and realising how much I can do and will be able to do, but unfortunately this will not magically brighten up the day. Time and rethinking will do that. Blessings to you all.

Hi Chelsie. I just saw you in the documentary All of Us and wanted to say thank you for being such an amazing inspiration to me and so many others. Every time I see one of your videos it gets me up and moving in my wheelchair and makes remember that I still can dance. If you ever happen to have any open dance classes, I would totally sign up. Maybe even a weekend workshop? (Just an idea. I would attend something like that in a heartbeat). Keep up the AMAZING work and I promise to keep following and learning from you. I danced ballet professionally when I was younger, now I use a wheelchair because it turns out I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - it was fun to be so flexible when I was younger, now everything hurts. I feel like even dancing in a wheelchair would be hard due to my problems with my shoulders and neck, (i need to use a power wheelchair because the manual one hurts me) but I suppose any range of motion works for this ;) May have to try to dance again someday.
