You’re so right! CPS was called on my parents and they left us there. In the home I was abused in, watching my dad do drugs and drink away all our money. I ate once a day and sometimes once every other day. It wasn’t until I was in the hospital from malnourishment that anything was done. What was done you might ask? My parents moved us in with my grandparents and stopped doing drugs for a year. Then it started again. CPS is a fucking joke!

Steve has been soft on quite a few men for the twisted, vicious, heinous actions they made ending up causing a lot of damage and leaving a trail of victims behind them. So, him being soft with her is not surprising to me. He has done the math on the matter and resolved to it with being soft with her and offering her to put herself back together. Yelling at her and being violent with her is not going to make her change her behavior, on the other hand, the way he's been with her is efficient. Hopefully, she will be a better mother to her children 🙏

Fact is that the person is right when they talk about the cycle of abuse. Because of everything I was put through, I don't think I will be able to love a child properly. Do you know how difficult it actually is to get someone’s kids taken from them?? My ex’s sister was a drug addict, homeless, abusive, alcoholic who dated extremely abusive men. We tried for YEARS to get her 3 beautiful children taken from her. We wanted them with us because she was a terrible mother. They were constantly staying with my ex and I. For weeks at a time. She never even took her kids to school and when she did, I’d get calls from the principal about the kids still being at the school at 4 because she never showed up to get them. I was their mother. This was 10 years ago. She STILL has custody of her kids. It doesn’t matter what we’ve done. One time cps said they have to see her actively smoking meth in order to remove the kids...we called because she was smoking in the house with the kids in the room. She left with the kids before the cops could get there. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “there’s nothing we can do” SO the fact that these women actually get their kids taken from them, says A LOT.

I love that Steve is willing to talk to people now instead of just throwing them off the stage and calling them names.

This isn't a fair statement... He *would* at least try to talk to people beforehand and usually would not throw them off stage until the end of the episode, when he reached his patience with them, and/or when they became too unruly. Honestly, I prefer the older Steve episodes, but there were other reasons he had to dial it down.

Each episode is different along with the situations but in similar situations he has just gotten pissed and thrown them off. But I guess in other wording I like seeing him talk to people and try to help.
