This generation is the first line of Huion products I haven't had to return for some silly issue and I've been impressed/satisfied with. They're finally up to par now in my opinion.

Agreed - they’re on a great path at the moment

I bought the kamvas 13 pro 3 years ago, the old one not the refreshed model, and still holds up like new, it has scratches on the aluminum from being used stored and stuff regularly, the pen still works great and went through some nibs and honestly I can say that huion is cooking, love their tablets, even if mine wasnt the best choice I could have made back then (I bought the non refresh version on accident) is still amazing.

I've used a lot of Wacom and Huion products in the past and find PenTech 4.0 to be close enough to Wacom for most people. My setup is an Intuos Pro and the Kamvas 19 Pro. The Wacom Pro Pen 2 is still the best, but Huion is close. The Pentech 4.0 enhanced pressure range of the initial activation force (IAF) and max pressure (2g to 500g) makes this pen very sensitive. The pressure range of Wacom Pro Pen 2 is (IAF < 1 gram to 800 gram max pressure). If you have a very light pen stroke or use a wide pressure range, the Wacom will be your best choice.

btw which surface texture do you prefer, intuos pro or kamvas 19?
@nycsim-r8t14 күн бұрын
@@Yoman911nine I like the Kamvas 19 surface better. Details below. I really did not like the rough Intuos Pro surface when I purchased it. Nibs wore down in no time. After use, the surface is acceptable: it's smoother and nib wear is better. Out of the box, the Kamvas 19 Pro had a rough scratchy surface out of the box. This is normal for treated glass surfaces, but after a week of use it became a smooth surface with enough friction.

I guess that making it thinner sacrificed colors, the Xp-pen has better colors. I was looking forward to see if they had better ones. Thank you for the review.

Very interesting review as always! A question: Many reviewers who tested the Huion Kamvas Pro 19 noted a certain amount of softness of the display due to antiglare coating of the glass cover. What is the Kamvas Pro 16 from Huion like? Similar, or does the display seem crisper and clearer?

Displays for artists coming factory calibrated is beyond a necessity. It should've been the standard years ago. Glad to see all these brands factory calibrating their displays.

Hii do you recommend buying from Huion or Amazon ?
@gerryjunpyo246210 күн бұрын
So which one would you recommend one buys ? The kamvas 16 gen 3 or the kamvas 16 pro/pro plus 4k? I know that the 16 gen 3 is new tech but My concern is that the kamvas 16 gen 3 isn’t Pro I think 😅. So please help with this . Or even the kamvas 16 pro 2.4k? I know that the scaling and resolution depends on preference (like you said ) but As I wrote before , Since I’ve seen ppl complain with the 4k in Mac that anyway they need to scale and that the 4k goes down to 2.5k anyway so why buy the 4k . You know what I mean ? Please if you can And in the case of the kamvas 16 gen 3 do you in your opinion and preference need to scale? Or could you paint without scaling ? Bc it would then make it even less than 2.5k. That’s my concern . I’m new w displays so you know , so I have no idea if it’s possible to paint without scaling etc . I know the 16 pro 4k you said one needs to definitely scale bc it’s the icons etc look tooo small . And of these that I mentioned, which can I use by just using the usb-C from the display to laptop and WITHOUT having to also plug the cables from computer to the wall outlet ? Oh and the 19 pro 4k one needs to plug to the wall right ?

The plastic may be sturdy and good quality, but I wish Huion went for a more premium feel and construction at this price point. Compare it to the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 Gen 2 that has a metal shell with built in stand, metal pen holder, and larger screen. Sure, the XP-Pen was originally $600 when it was released, but it's available for $500 now. The only thing that holds back the XP-Pen is the slight pen inaccuracy at tilted angles. It feels like this Huion display was made for an eventual sale price of $400 instead of $500. It's still a good pen display, and a lot of people won't notice the material difference, but it would still be nice to have a premium build and know that the money is going towards something nicer.

Can you use the buttons if you're left-handed? I have never had a drawing tablet with buttons before, so is there a way to turn the display around for left-handed people?

Display setting, then select screen rotation. You might have to recalibrate the pen input afterward.

Hello from germany. PLEASE deactivate the automatic translations for voice. It sounds terrible. As far as i know, yt automatically activates it, but it can be deactivated.

Great review but it doesnt have a Pro label in the store, it is just a regular Huion Kanvas 16 gen 3
@Foxfire-chan14 күн бұрын
Huion is a company that usually updates their models every few years. They usually start with the regular line first before going to update their pro line. During that period before they’ve updated their pro line, the regular version will be a better buy than the older pro version s. A lot of this tech plus a bit extra will probably be added to the updated version of the kamvas 13 pro and 16 pro in time, it just takes a while for it to come out. Hope this helps!
