Hey Horse Lovers, I have an update regarding Prince Charming my Auction Appaloosa Horse. Over the past 12 months we have been on a long journey and a roller coaster of a ride regarding his rehabilitation. In this video I'm going to give you a recap of what we have been through over the last 12 months and our most current update as of now. Shae look into PRP injections. Your vet should be able to do them. I would recommend them as it uses his own plasma to heal what is injured inside. I personally had PRP injections done to avoid rotator cuff surgery and hip replacement and it worked!!

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch this video. But I did, my heart is completely broken for you Shae 😢. He was doing so good in his rehab journey. Like you said, you fix one thing and then something else rears it’s ugly head. I’m praying so hard for you guys right now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed and praying that the MRI shows something that can be fixable. You have done wonders for him, as you mentioned, he would have gone from auction to auction if he hadn’t landed with you. When you said he wasn’t even pasture sound or could even be a companion, I was shocked. Bless you, dear ❤ Shae. 🙏 Praying for the best outcome, that you find what is wrong and it is treatable. I have experienced soft tissue injuries myself as a human, I have so much empathy for dealing with multiple doctors and multiple tests! In my case, I developed a severe osteoarthritis that fused my SI joint from end-to-end. But it took two years until enough scarring from the fusion showed up to diagnose it, with either CAT scans or MRIs. And I was bedridden with pain for most of that 2 years. After the diagnosis, it took about another 5 years to heal. Sometimes it takes awhile to find out what's going on. I pray that you have the strength to keep persisting. I ache for you and your horse! Again, I am praying for the best outcome, that you can find what is wrong and it is treatable. 🙏

I know, its so hard, like how does my 23 yr. old boss horse feel, His registered name is "Holy Warrior" hes special in everyway, was given to me due to eye injury and i gave him to all the Guest riders i could find, but i kept him , cared for him and today , i look outside and i see the boss horse is still the Boss. Oh, doll, you are truly an angel for giving this horse love and care. But, age will always catch up to us all. I could see this horse had pain in his steps. It is alleviated but arthritis is an incurable condition and persists over and over again. Retire this oldboy.

Gosh, really feel for you and Prince Charming, I will be keeping everything crossed for you, I purchased a 5yr old mare who 6months after purchasing had similar issues, she too went for an MRI and it turned out at some point she had torn her DDFT and it had stuck itself to the navicular bone, thankfully we were able to get her field sound and she was able to be retired to the field, I sadly lost her last year at 26, I really hope you get some positive news from the MRI. Will be thinking of you both ❤

Good to know about the shoes. Tx for sharing. Don’t mean to be an internet know it all but please consider if Mild case of Wobblers…? Seen a few Appaloosas with it. Had one. Understand it seems worse on one side understand why vet might think unilateral and soft tissue. Wobblers generally see in rear end first but suggest consider if vet hasn’t thought thru spine yet. Good luck - he may still be in long term pain. Thank you for caring. Can’t save them all. We all understand.

When doctors do not have the answers, before I would spend money on a MRI, I would seek out am equine psychic medical intuitive. You will get the answers from the horses mouth, literally, and save $2k. While I so very appreciate what you have done for Prince here, my bet is on the alternative medical medium. My neighbor went through a very similar situation with her Thoroughbred show horse and the doctors big solution were nerve blocks. Never really found anything conclusive. I pray you find the answers you are seeking and blessings to you and Prince! ❤

I know for me and my 4 year old arthritic dog we move a bit slower in the cold. It hurts more. He's on Adequan as well. He gets an injection once a month. It for sure sounds like more than just arthritis for Charming. Best of luck to you with him.

75% improvement is huge. There are angels around this horse because you rescued him. You are the very best kind of person. The only thing I can compare your situation to is, sometimes I spend a lot of money on coaching or a new opportunity that compliments my home business because I see the potential. Unfortunately, what I spend on the potential I see, and the education I get, doesn't always translate into revenue for my business. In the future it ultimately does because I have the knowledge and the education is great. But, I have to accept that expenditure. Then, I have to put the knowledge in action. I've learning through many years in hard, hard times to take it one step at a time, do your very best (again, me too) and try to turn the parts you can't control over to your Higher Power, whatever that may be. And keep us posted ... I know you will. (I had to smile when you said, "I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst." That's been one of my mantras all of my life. Keep it in your thoughts.

Oh Shae honey, I'm so sorry your having to go through all of this 😢. He is sooo lucky to have you. You have literally done everything in your power to help Prince Charming, and that is so admirable. The love you have for all of your animals is admirable. Thoughts and prayers 🙏 are with you and PC throughout the rest of this ordeal. I pray you get the answers you need. I know how hard and expensive this has been for you. But I also know you would pay $$ almost any amount just to have some answers, and direction on how to make PC's life pain free. It simply breaks my heart to see you going through this 💔 🥺. I don't want to say this, but I'm going to......Shae you have to prepare yourself for the worst (pray for the best) but you have almost exhausted every avenue, he might not ever get any better 😢. And if you can't even turn him out on pasture and retire him then...... It unfortunately leaves you with only one answer 😢. Cause you are right, if you had not rescued him from the auction that day, other people would have probably thought oh he's lame and just through him back into another auction, and on and on, or worst yet ridden him lame until he couldn't take another step 😢. Most people are not as kind and loving as you. I thank the Lord that you got him and saved him from a life of pain and misery. But honey, you can only do so much, and Lord knows you have, but if it's not fixable...... just please prepare yourself and know in your heart you have gone above and beyond for him. You've literally done everything possible for him. Again, I'm so sorry your having to go through this 💔. All my prayers 🙏 are with you Shae.
