If Sennecke had a good interview I think the Habs may select him. He has the height and can develop the size to be a good centre and potentially an excellent winger, The Habs are trying to build a team culture that focuses on a team first view. Still think they will pick Iginla if Demidov is not available. This is looking like it may not be "the year of the defenceman". Always remember Button is only on air for his comedic takes.

i would not take Lindstrom if he has a herniated disc. I know from my own back problems. I had herniated disc which over time that got worse to the point i got rapture disc. I would use the 26 pick and a 2nd round pick and a d man to get beckett Sennecke and Tij Iginla Thank you Kevin

Sennecke had one, if not the, best post practice interviews at the combine. They were all tired and the questions weren't interesting, he still showed how smart, humble yet determined he is and most importantly how, as young as he is, already thinks team beefore himself. That kid is a coach's dream.

Only reservation i have on LIndstrom is that herniated disc injury, same goes with Demidov's knee (but Bobrov's own father would have info on that almost no other team can gain access to). I trust Hughes and his staff to have collected much more info that we could ever on those kids and make the smartest choice. I also trust the system in place now is the best we've ever had in such a long time at developping these young players and bringing them closer to full potential.

Safest pick at 5. Drops the kits if needed, protects the puck, captain material vibes, Suzuki like frame plays LW but slated to play at C next year, one of the youngest kids in the draft, scores, passes, skates puck into the net. My favourite forward pick. Demidov is a pipe dream I would only draft him if Bobrov has some positive inside info. Lindstrom I’m not sold on, looks good right now against boys, but will he play big against the big boys in the NHL Sennecke is my other pick if Demidov and Iginla go before #5, hopefully he fills out physically

The Montreal's scouts have been following all these prospects for the last months and even years. I am sure they already know who they want to draft...So if it is Iginla, Demidov, Lindstrom, Sennecke or even a defenseman, I am sure there will be a very good reason to justify it. !!!

So I would be happy if the Habs picked him. But I'm starting to worry. Last year, I wanted the Habs to pick Ryan Leonard. No offense to Reinbacher but as of now, I still like Leonard more. Reinbacher might turn out to be my favorite player one day. I do need to give him time. That said I'm afraid the Habs pick another D next week and I really, really want an offensive forward this draft.

There’s no guarantee that Iginla or Lindstrom falls to 5. It’s entirely possible that it goes: Celebrini Demidov Iginla Lindstrom If this happens, I think Levshunov is the guy and then the Habs will try to move up from their second pick and get Sennecke, Catton or Helenius.
