I don't understand why more entrepreneurs don't do this. They didn't ask for a lot of money, and they didn't have to give up a large percentage. So many people come in wanting hundreds of thousands of dollars without offering enough of the business to make the dragons want to give up that kind of investment. The dragons will fund you down the road if it's needed to keep the business going, so why would you ask for so much up front? These people knew what they were doing. Ask for a little bit of money, so you don't have to give up a huge percentage, and just get the dragon on board. It's not like they won't fund purchase orders down the road if need be, you just have to get them into the business.

I would argue it depends on the investment goals. Sometimes you do need a bigger chunk to get ball rolling depending on what you're trying to do. But their product is a dried good, in a small eco-friendly package with a long shelf-life. I was a little surprised they didn't ask about competition... I guess it tasted really good.

Well done the other dragons who were rebbuffed early after there offers ,normally when this happens the other dragons declare themselves out ,and are a bit bitter but here they were nice and respectfull .

Extremely weak move by tej. This was just an attempt to deflate peters ego but he succumbed immediately when he could have just agreed to it originally. It was a good offer and he had nothing to lose. Came off extremely weak in the end.
