I feel the same way, and I don't know what to do now, like, in my mind I've already learned everything and I feel confident, but then, I try to speak and the words just won't come out of my mouth, or maybe I watch something on Netflix and yet, there are some words or phrases that I just don't understand, and I know I should take note of it all, but my boredom is too much to get a pencil and write down what I don't understand, so... btw im from colombia too jaja

@@sofiacollazos402 Get a tutor and practice speaking. There are materials to help you get from intermediate to advanced level. it just boils down to work and effort. You need to learn new words, practice grammar and then apply this to writing and speaking. For example, for various international tests like CAE or IELTS Academic they expect you to use certain grammatical structures and certain words from a specific number of fields. The questions for speaking force you to use them and if you don't, it just means you haven't reached that level yet. I think what happens is that many people learnt English up until an intermediate level at school and this was easier during that period because they had to do small steps for mandatory things, like classes at school or weekly tutoring sessions. The workload was divided in a number of years. But then when they become adults they somehow want everything to be quicker, to learn in a few months, maybe 6 months to one year the same quantity of material like they did in years when they were students at school. That's not possible without a lot of effort.

A wise man once said : "don't learn english, enjoy english" For example i learned english (not 100% but maybe 80%) from games and memes... etc. my point is, if you want to ruin something just add the word "learning" in it. I'm from iraq btw (no one care)

Thanks a lot teacher for this video, as always your videos and tips are ver helpful. In fact, this happened to me in last years, in 2011 I took an English course and grew from basic to intermediate, but I couldnt pay any more the course and since then I felt down in a "hole". But some months ago I applied for a well-paid job here in MX but I needed a good English level and this made me to go up from this hole and then propose to learn more English until achieve an Advanced level, I know I can get it and I hope aplly again for this job next year. Now nobody and nothing can stop me!!

I never give up learning English.I know English language is hard but I also know that I can do it. Sometimes,when I don't get things. It seems to me that it's really difficult 😔, impossible. Well, I was inspired by thi video. Honestly I would rather read and write to a native speaker than talk to them lol.. I'm not confident on my speaking skills harder for me to express thoughts that way. But what really moved me were the words you send it in the end, that's true for me my goals are broad. Whereas you can now learn everything online. In this era we don't really need to go to other countries to work, we can now work remotely.
