As a parent I promise you it will be days you can't stand your children but I promise your love will always out way whatever other human emotions you may have. Because a loving parent 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th thought is always their kids then everyone else.

I totally agree because there are a lot of people who have children and they murder their kids because they don't want children! Or are they abuse their children physically and emotionally.. and that would tear her sister to pieces is she gives those kids back to this empty woman and then she does something to those children. But the judge should make her pay child support for those children I don't care what her situation is if you don't want the kids and the kids are with the aunt then you should be giving her money to support your children and social the fathers

They will get things like an assistance check, food stamps, free lunches, and so on, to help that Auntie out, and she 100% deserves it for taking those sweet babies on. I am absolutely astounded how emotionless the mother was. It was only after judge confirmed when she was supposed to be graduating that you saw any life in her at all. And think the judge read pretty quickly that the kids were way better off staying with the amazing aunt. Even if she did want them I would definitely be concerned about sending them back. Her lack of emotions and care factor in general for her own children has me flawed and speechless
@theninjacat7200 Жыл бұрын
something else is going on. perhaps the mom was on drugs when she had the kids so she truly doesn't want them. She got pregnant when she was strung out, didn't terminate the pregnancy and now she's coping as best she can. Perhaps she was beaten by the father(s) of the kids. I worked at Social Services and once you've done that, it will FLOOR you to find out what's going on underneath the surface.

As disturbing as the mother’s indifference and lack of compassion is, I want to acknowledge the aunt’s selfless willingness to keep the children as they could easily become wards of The State if the aunt also decided that she didn’t want to continue caring for them. The mother clearly has mental health issues that aren’t addressed in this case, and the children would be in danger of serious neglect in her care or perhaps worse. My hats off and tremendous respect to the aunt-may she be blessed financially and granted the strength and perseverance she needs to raise her niece and nephew. And I also hope that mother gets the help she needs and is able to heal in the process. Maybe one day her relationship with her children can be reconciled. There is always hope.

Not only did she not pick them up in a week, she disappeared from the face of the earth, and never came back. We were finally able to adopt them when they were 14 and 12. Of course we were never sorry that they became our children, but they did suffer from abandonment issues. I hope that this woman went to court to make this situation permanent. The biological mother seems so disconnected from her children that I'm wondering if there are any existing psychological issues. (My first thought was drug use due to delayed reactions and responses, as well as inappropriate smiles.) The only time she showed any emotion is when the judge set the amount of child support at $700/month, she seemed to wake up then! But whatever the underlying issues are, it's definitely in the children's best interest to be raised by someone who actually loves them, not sees them as a burden. Pay your child support, woman, and be thankful that you have a sister who is willing to take on your responsibilities.
