Beautiful Corvette. Your money, your choice! Haters have to hate. I bet most of the haters have never driven an Eray, let alone the base Corvette which will put most new and used so-called supercars to shame. To the haters: pull up the specs from Car and Driver or Road and Track on the Eray. By those specs it’s a supercar and will bust almost every supercar under $400k. The Eray is a middle finger to the overpriced euro supercars. Enjoy your Eray!

I’ve driven 911s for 25 years including a turbo and 3 GT3s. But I tried the C8 Z06. The sound is the best in the business, there is no better sound than that flat plane crank. I had one for 60 days and traded it in for a new Lamborghini Huracan Technica. Let me tell you the difference. I’ve driven Ferraris McLarens and I’ve owned Porsches the C8 Z06 and now the Lamborghini Huracan. The interior of the Z06 is way better than previous corvettes. A huge improvement. But it’s sloppy compared to Porsche and Lamborghini. The deviated stitching in the Chevy looks like it’s done in a hurry . Its uneven . The other cars are perfect. The door gaps are huge. From the door to the dash decoration the gap is a half inch. You’d never see that in the Porsche and especially not in the Lamborghini. Lamborghini are immaculate in the interior fit and finish. The car play screen rattled every time I drove it. Drove me crazy. My Z06 was a 3LZT with stealth and the competition seats and carbon level 2. The seats don’t feel as firm as the Porsche or Lamborghini. They’re good but not great. The carbon stuff in the corvette was awesome. Performance is great in the Z06. But the DCT was lazy, I don’t know if it’s supposed to learn your driving but the Porsche PDK shifts before I thought about shifting. The Lamborghini is even better which blows me away. I think it’s GMs programming by GM. The Chevy brakes are mushy. I don’t understand that because they’re made by brembo just like Porsche and Lamborghini. But in the Lamborghini when you think of stopping, the car stops IMMEDIATELY. When I first applied the brakes on the Z06 I didn’t feel anything. And they are the Carbon ceramic brakes. I think it’s because GM went digital with their brakes . So again maybe for safety they’re just not responsive. The first time I drove the Huracan I stopped ASAP. As far as styling I think the C8 is a good first broad brush for a nice looking sports car, but it’s not refined. The C7 is an excellent example of a front engined car getting to a refined shape. GM needs to do that with the C8. It needs to be more refined because it looks like a first try at a mid engine sports car. Is the Z06 a supercar? Hell YES it’s a supercar. And it will get to the level of the other cars but you can’t expect GM to hit the ball completely out of the park on the first try. They hit a long triple. The ride is awesome especially in tour mode. These other hard core cars don’t have that smooth ride . Even in Strada mode in the Lamborghini is much rougher than tour mode. In the GT3 in just non sport mode was like a race car compared to the Z06/Z07 But there’s a large difference between a C8 Z06 and a Lamborghini. But for the price it’s to be expected. There’s just not the refinement of the higher level cars in the Z06. Here’s another example. Look at heated air conditioned seats in those other cars, Chevy has a “dirty” look in their seats of lighter color. I’ve never seen that in a Porsche . I don’t know why GM has that look but lots of people complain about that. Give Chevy a decade and they’ll catch up

A recent Ferrari owner who never owned a Ferrari prior (was unemployed in 2017 and only focused on crypto investing, a KZbinr named George) said you can just walk into a Ferrari dealer and place an order just like a C8 when he ordered his F8. There's no gatekeeping on the "lower level" Ferraris like the 488, F8, 296, etc. if you're not on some blacklist. Ferrari only gatekeeps if you're buying their limited production flagships (like 288, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari, F80) which now cost in the multi-millions. But the same preferential practice has been true for other manufacturers' limited halo cars (Lexus LFA, Ford GT, Mustang GTD, etc.).

Honestly if you never owned a exotic you don’t understand what it’s really like to own one. Sorry but the c8 is close but not a lambo or Ferrari. Don’t get me wrong the c8 is awesome for what it is but is still a corvette.

I don’t need to own one to know it’s overpriced, and looks good like these cars. There’s no way I could spend 700k a new Lamborghini just to get beat by a Tesla, not gonna happen. C8 Stingray is the best value. Eray is overpriced in my opinion. $130K and that’s not even fully loaded. Why not get a Z06 for that price?

You own a C8, I've owned a C8 as well. Your comments about full loaded are pointless. Everyone that has a brain KNOWS that after the 2LZ is all show...basically a WASTE of money. So if you got played into buying a 3...cool, enjoy it. As for the Z06, I clearly can have a Z06...but I don't want one. They are mainly track cars, and only offer better sound from the engines 5.5L. So it's pointless to get one, when this car exists. It's faster, and has more standard options. Feel better now? Enjoy your stingray...and the 6 other Vettes you've owned, I'm happy for you.
