I saw the almost completed new main ''roundabout' on Milton Road in Cambridge today, it has so many lanes and traffic lights road users will not know where to look, I give it a week before someone is seriously hurt, as for the Milton Road 'improvements' as a whole, they were originally estimated to cost 24 million, but are already millions over budget, money that would have been better spent repairing the hundreds of cavernous suspension and tyre destroying potholes, and don't get me started on the 'roadworks' all over the city that have been ongoing for months with little or no progress 🙄

Okay, I’m a bike rider and have been for many years we can all point fault at each other for example half the people who drive cars these days shouldn’t even be allowed to ride a tricycle they are a danger to their self and to everybody else around them why do they insist to drive their car one-handed and being on their mobile phone texting etc etc it doesn’t matter if bike users payed road tax or not because people who drive will still cut them up, and treat them like second-class citizens the fact is cars kill and that is how most of the accidents happen on the road because the drivers are too interested in being on their mobile phones seeing if they hair is right drinking their cappuccino or playing their music then doing what they should be doing is driving a car responsibly

I get so fed up of counting the mindless motorists who do not obey the laws of the road particulary the red light jumping that goes on when they thump the heavy right foot down on the accelerator rather than just slow down and stop as the law requires,another pet hate is when i am driving my car and the sign says 30 MPH for that stretch and then someone comes right upto my bumper trying to force me over the speed limit,i come down a stretch of road where there is a nasty left hand bend and the signs say 40 mph and i slow down before the sign and some idiots decide not to slow down so race past doing well over 40 mph in order to get to the bend first but are not able to see what the situation is around the bend.

This infuriates me. There is no road tax. You do not have to sit in a car. I live on a one way street - there are cars deliberately going up it the wrong way because it is easier to get to the shops. I see cars going through red lights all the time (just up the road from the Histon Road junction shown in the video is a roundabout at the A14 - you will see drivers go through a red light every time the lights change - I got run down by one). Only a minority you will say - same for cyclists. Oh, and we are as mad at just eat and deliveroo cyclists as anybody else is.

Its on individual basis as a cyclist and prodiomantly a motorist i totally get being stuck behind 2 or 3 abreast you should single out and yes i think some cyclists are not old school and definitely up thereselves they dont even speak when passing. But people like our jezza i love who just want to get out there car and start on the 3 of us who go out for a ride complying and being courteous all three of us have boxed for years before cycling and 2 of us were solid amateurs at a good level so if we are looking to get gripped by some aggressive driver its only going one way.

When my 44 ton artic has the loud audible "This vehicle is turning left" warning sounding and clearly indicating in advance there's always one brain dead cyclist who comes up the blind side, ignoring the warnings clearly marked on the trailer of the dangers, then blame the HGV driver for not seeing them when they are obviously in our blind spot. Law breaking cyclists are NEVER prosecuted. I challenged the "police" when I was given "notice of prosecution for driving without due care and attention" - the police refused to give me the helmet cam footage of the cyclist (amongst a number of breaches of road traffic law) so I had the fabricated case thrown out. Upon further investigation it turns out the cyclist "has form" for constantly and maliciously trying to have innocent motorists prosecuted. Had I not found this out and challenged the police I would have been wrongfully prosecuted.
