The UFC fight between James Toney and Randy Couture nearly fifteen years ago proved that fighters needs to stay in their lane. aj is in an incredible place right now. The best I've ever seen him, mental clarity, perspective... he is so sharp yet so relaxed casual at the same time, zen almost. We already know he has some incredible skill sets in the ring but an AJ with everything in place is an incredible fighter and a very dangerous man. AJ is always preaching about mental clarity and perspective, but it seems convenient that he only manages to win against far inferior opponents. This situation highlights just how much professional heavyweight boxing has declined. Neither AJ nor Tyson should be facing an MMA fighter with only two professional boxing matches under his belt.
