After seeing this press conference and how dignified Ngannou was in it and how respectful and still praising of all he has achieved everyone is, I kind of think this was the best outcome possible. Losing is a constant in life, it's kind of inspiring to see your heroes lose in a dignified way. At least I feel that way. And anyone who has followed Ngannous career knows he is man enough to rise up from this, he did it with Stipe. At the sam time he is 37 and he has got so much money, it would be totally okay for him to take it easy now. He does a lot for his hometown, maybe focus on that would be great.

this is so refreshing and really saved the fight game as a whole. No social media antics. Not even a need for bad blood. Two men who act like men, and who give respect as men. And still a great bit of enterainment with a great Ko. Ngannou is formidable in skill and in spirit, he stepped up to the plate and he struck out, and he stilled showed up to the confress in front of everybody humble, but not shaken of confidence, with a great sense of humor and still is not deterred. And AJ did great, saved boxing's reputation single handedly in spectacular fashion, and unlike a jake paul, stepped up to an equal man in skill size and power, and even after beating him showed immense respect and no arrogance at all. I love this fight and i wish every fight was like it. No drama no cattyness, no social media bs, just skill, determination, humbleness and respect.

Man I love AJ’s mindset right now, before it felt like he was trying to say what he thought people wanted to hear at times. Then after the losses it felt like he was just internally conflicted and trying to figure out his identity within the sport. Now it just feels like he’s being himself, and it shows when he fights as well, letting go/ or at least coming to terms with the fear of failure of others and failing himself and just expressing himself to the best of his ability. I really hope he carries it forward and doesn’t lose it when he faces tougher adversity, which he inevitably will.

Solid performance, Seems like aj got his head straight again. Pleased to see it, I feared for his mental state in recent years. I've never been his biggest fan but I really like him with his new attitude. Must have a good sports psychologist, hats off to them.

Great to see AJ relaxed and happy. You could see it before the fight, during the fight and in the post fight presser. I like this AJ; reminiscent of his attitude early on in his career, with the benefit of some great experience.

Props to these two guys and their respect to each other post fight. Prefight rage to me always hits me like its manufactured fake wrestling rage and if it is believable it takes away from the sport of it. How many fights do we see trash talk and when its over they are like good pals... I would like to see more respect like this. Two very humble top notch athletes.
