Honestly, I think Tome Tampering decks were strong because they were enabled by Malchezaar's Imp. If anything, the Imp should be nerfed to something like "whenever you activate an effect that discards at least one card, draw a card." Tome Tampering is pretty bad in Standard right now, and that's mostly because standard Warlocks don't have the instant refill capability of wild Warlocks.

Tried Lor'themar + Cthun in warrior with the new draw taunt double stats spell and sadly it doesn't work on cthun even if you give it taunt with Twighlight Geomancer :( Not sure if that's a bug or intended.

I've had decent success with an Astalor version of this. Also just remove the discard portion of tome tampering, basically making it a better deadmans hand.
