Why would anyone turn down a 128 kit from HD!! It's pretty cool that you had this opportunity. Now you need to add Love Jugs to this one to keep it cool. I have the fan assisted oil cooler and added the Love Jugs it really does help especially when you're stopped.

Which direction does your oil cooler fan blow ? Does it pull air towards the rear of the bike or does the fan push air into the actual cooler ?

Great info once again John. After watching and learning from all your videos this past year, i have my 114 street glide special set up with the 475 cam, khrome werks slip ons and dyno tuned professionally using a power vision tuner. Fun to ride and extremely reliable. Bike has a little over 20k miles now in 14 months and ZERO issues. I appreciate all the content. Cheers from Maine.

Nice honest video presentation on the big Stage 4 upgrade. And good call on the increased cooling requirements too. I totally agree with you on the power of the stock 107 - I went stage 2 strictly for the improvement in the sound and I'm very happy with it.

Very nice set up and nice bike. Most don't know you can get about 130hp/tq out of the 114" M8. I have a 2022 street glide special 114", zippers stage 2 kit with 472 cam, sawicki 2-1 full exhaust, screaming eagle ventilator air cleaner, screaming eagle 64mm throttle body with matching intake, bigger injectors and upgraded clutch. My numbers are 128hp/129tq, power right off idle. I might have 5500$ in parts and tune.

100% agreed on "you don't need it" generally. I have a turbo on my (otherwise stock, except for ECU) 2018 107", and it's plenty. You really don't want a Harley with that frame geometry to be much faster. Get a sportbike if so!

My stock 107 in my 2023 Street Glide has plenty of power for me... big displacement equals big heat. The oil cooler fan works well. It is a must for any HD M8. Stop and go riding will kill these engines. I also run the dipstick temp gauge so I can monitor the oil temp. I rode in 100+ degree weather today and my oil temp was at 215* when I got home. I may install Love Jugs in the future. Crazy what we have to do to keep these engines alive. HD could do much better. Full jacketed water cooled engines are in the future. Are you going to install the Trask vented tranny cover and external head breathers? Look up Invisi frame down tube sticker cover. It has magnets and it covers those ugly stickers. I purchased an extended warranty through Jim Palmer (retired Marine) that covers all aftermarket parts. So, a tuner might be in my future. The hard part is finding a dyno tuner who knows what he is doing. Great video :-)

Good info, John. Harley finally will add liquid cooling to the new CVO twins, like everyone else. It is not easy to know where the traffic jams are, stay off the bike in hot weather, etc. I enjoy riding too much. Notice you don't have to worry about that on the Hyabusa. If I was going to buy a Harley, I think I'd wait until those water cooled motors trickle down to the rest of the bikes. Ride safe.👍🏾

I remember the vid with silverback when you were on the freeway with Traveling tall . While tall was trying to get to the power you reeled him in fast but a car got in the way . Silverback cam produced a lot of torque down low to mid and even on the freeway cruising your still in 2k -5k range so when you twist the throttle your gone no needing to get to the power and if you take the race longer and stretch out the gear over 5k the horsepower kicks in . Talks 552 cam didn’t have a high torque curve down low to mid so he had milliseconds to get to the power as where you already were in it with silverback as soon as you twisted . It’s hard to find a cam that hits everywhere as soon as you grab throttle but with the right combination of parts that is the difference in walking away from them and just leaving to reeling them in or just flat out destroying cuz if that curve

Lets be honest, you put the big bore kit on your bike because you were tired of Sandy kicking your butt.🤣🤣🤣107 does indeed have a shorter stroke (4.375 vs 4.5 of a 114) I decided to have Darkhorse do my flywheels, just for reliability. Aftermarket performance parts gives you more bang for your $$ compared to SE. TMan does have his "stuff" LOL together.. Instead of those ugly Love Juggs, look to JIMS for your cylinder cooling needs. Better looks/design plus JIMS has been in the HD game a long time Love your Busa, as I was considering one but went with the GSX S100GT instead. Did Chris Moore do your tuning on the Busa? Iam considering having him do mine as Iam an old Harley guy and these metric bikes are a new world to me...... ENJOY your channel!
