Awesome video! I wish I had the discipline to draw everysingle day like you do. I've been trying to "get good" at art since probably around 6 or 7th grade but its been pretty inconsistent because i unfortunately got the habit of deriving all my self worth from how well i do in school instead of what i want to do. you're so right king!! you just keep on drawing! EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO OR YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT OR SOME OTHER BS! i'm so tired of all the pussies with excuses whining and bitching on the internet about artblocks, loss of inspiration and how shitty their art is. YOU WORK ON YOURSELF, LOOK AROUND YOURSELF FOR INSPIRATION AND KEEP ON GRINDING!! THAT'S THE SECRET OF BECOMING GREAT AT SOMETHING. that's the beauty of internal motivation, of internal strive towards mastering a skill. you don't need nothin, you don't need no one, no number controls you, only fire of passion burns. i've been thinking this for a long time and everyone thinks it's some kind of magic or a fairy tale. i've been doing the same for year now with an addition of not posting my art anywhere. just grinding for myself only. thank you so much for this video, your progress is amaizing and truly deserved. you made me feel like someday maybe people will get it. i hope the best for you.

"Bigger númber, better person" philosophical You defenetly better person :D But dude don't say that "if i don't like it how i expect people to like it" You see your art diffrent than other people, and apqrt of they seeing mistakes you made that you couldn't see, they also can see the details and the cool things you did! And also don't worry much of hiw it looks, as artist we do have to focus in the final result, but the best part of it is the procces, if you ask any pro artist about a piece they made, they Will talk more about the procces. And your improvement you made is so crazy, not only did you spent the time but you put quality on that time so yea AWESOME WORK and keep it going. (Don't Take it as a hole master poem pls😢😢)

Recently turned 33. Always wanted to draw since a kid, was just dogshit at it. My sister was talented from just a child and only got better over the years of her drawing more and more. My stepdad was also really good at drawing. My real dad was a guitar player, but as a kid, for reasons, he really made me hate doing anything he liked, which turned me off from pursuing music, as much as I loved music. Late 20s finally went to college for Computer Science. Did 2 years. Never really got anything with my degree. They won't even really give you a chance unless you have years of experience these days. From my experience. Now at 33, I just been getting the overwhelming urge to draw. I live on my own, don't go out much unless I'm in a relationship or visit friends. I lost motivation in everything. And I mean everything. I recently found my self reading manga, Korean comics, etc. I use to read a lot of these as a kid. Berserk was one of my favorites. And I realize just reading stuff on webtoons or Shonen Jump, it just made me really want to make my own comic. I've written books, but I lose interest because what my story is translates better visually. Show, don't tell. I honestly feel that is the best way to make characters feel more human. I also really like tragedy like AoT, Tokyo Ghoul, etc. And I specially love Tokyo Ghouls art, but I know I could never make art even close to as good as his. But anyways, where my rambling is going. I really have no other aspirations in my life right now, and recently went through a pretty rough patch, but I so badly want to draw. I want to bring my ideas alive. I know my art will look laughable for quite a while. But hey, maybe one day I'll be able to make my own web toon. Seeing your Demon Slayer art and the transition to what you make now was very inspirational, thank you! It's as you said, inside inspiration. It's clear I'm feeling it.

This inspired me to keep going, even though I stopped drawing completely during university for about 2-3 years. I feel stuck because I don’t know what to draw. While I believe I have the technical skills to create work at a professional level, my biggest challenge is coming up with ideas. I understand the importance of collecting references and exploring inspiration, but my mind feels blank when it comes to generating original concepts. I can “redraw” or “copy” extremely well, but that doesn’t feel fulfilling or beneficial in the long run. It leaves me with nothing unique to post or share nothing that truly represents me as an artist. I want to use 2025 to be more active online using my art. My dream is to become a comic artist and make money from that. Also, if anyone knows any discord servers for artist please let me know. Somewhere where I can ask for advice, show my work, etc. :-)!
