Omg! So beautiful!!! I agree with you so much on so many things! First of all, you asked recently if people like the voice over. I would like to say that I really love the voice over! I love hearing the story behind it and I also love hearing about what’s going on in your head. I also really like your accent! Also, I really love seeing the bones of things too. It gives me an understanding of what went into it. I also agree with you about computer generated stuff. Some of what people create can be really beautiful, but when it comes to what I create, it has to be paper, pens, ink, etc. I just can’t connect with the computer. It makes me think of a story of when they built the first submarines using AutoCAD. There wasn’t enough space to do maintenance on things! They would seriously have to cut out sections of piping and such to get in to work on things that broke. It was a total nightmare! So computers kind of take the reality out of things. But anyway, keep on being amazing and working on manifesting your dream of not having to do anything but art!!!

great video. love your work. speaking of large paper, i purchase paper on a roll when it us larger than the 18 x 24 size. it helps. i have had to downsize drawings using a xerox and light box to do so, and it takes something away from my multi-page construction.

I have tried to calculate how many dots I do per second when stippling to work it out, but as you said, it’s a pointless endeavour. There are so many variables. You have to be literally consistently doing the exact number of dots per second with no breaks to get a rough estimation, which is nearly close to impossible.

Omg, that many dots.. This turned out really special! But you should be more careful with your hands. Unless you want to turn into a dot matrix printer.. :) Just curious: why do you erase the pencil lines before inking?
@ZKorvin4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rene, I erase them to get better coverage with the drawing pens. This ink doesn’t sit so well on top of pencil.
