I Drilled Holes in a Perfectly Good Hollowform! What was I thinking?? Woodturning a Moon Vase

In this video I drill a bunch of holes in a perfectly good hollowform vase. Will it explode? Ummm no, but there is a method to my madness. As always, this is a demonstration, not instruction. If anyone other than me attempted this there's no telling what might happen. Woodturning is dangerous. In this case even more dangerous. Please don't attempt to do what I do. Things may explode, melt down, or even open up a black hole.
Sorry about the video quality. This was shot a while back using my cell phone before I had proper video equipment, in the stone ages, in the land before time. Does anyone ever read this? Who knows. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't. All the important stuff is in the links below
