The graphic looks amazing! The croc's bite and tail whip, FCK that's awesome! Also how all the arrows is stuck in the animal. Lmfao love the panic fighting that Jaguar. That was like .5hp left, CLOSE CALL! Yoooo, they made it so bear would swim over to attack you! Amazing af. Damn I really might have to try this game out! Just something you might want to know, bears are really easy to kill, shoot them with an arrow and got into the water swim backwards and either stab them with a knife or shoot with arrows. They don't hit you in water.

If you cook the pumpkin and other vegetables (carrots, corn, etc) you get a lasting buff from them. One meat, one veggie, and one berry is the best combination for full stamina, health, and a buff.

This game is one of the first games I played on PC when I shifted from console to PC gaming. I have more than 200 hours in it. Very beautiful and very challenging for sure when it comes to survival ways. If you want to test the survival aspect very well in this game, just try the snow biome. I hated it when I do missions over there. 😂 Great video Don. If you are welling to do live streams in this game, you can do missions and stream it. Some missions are short and some are long. You will get to level up and unlock a lot of things and use it to get ready for the mission. 🌹😎👍🏼

Much the same on Icarus - they will steal your food if given a chance. You'll sometimes find a dead one by your camp fire - it died trying to steal food from the fire.

When there are worms in the caves, if you don't kill them all before leaving the cave, they will 'move forwards' in the spawn holes. As you left the cave the worms moved and appeared from the first hole.

Whatever way you are looking is the way it will place the item. So if you want to over look the lake, look right at it and place your post. Then the floor parts will be straight the way you was looking.

I’m super late to the party here, but for those reading in the comments, if you crouch you go into stealth mode. Headshots with the bow while in stealth mode does much more damage and can one shot many animals, especially with better arrows and an upgraded bow.

It's funny how you need a space suit in icarus since it does have plants everywhere and wind so there are oxygen. And living animals so it's just basically a different earth.

Yeah a lot of things don't really add up, but as long as you don't let that ruin it for you, the gameplay is a lot of fun

It's terraforming gone wrong. There is not enough oxygen in the air to survive hence the suit. The animals are genetically modified if I remember correctly so they can survive. Plants 'breath' carbon dioxide, but again they are modified. Oxygen is not needed for wind - any moving gas is wind (check out the winds on Neptune - frozen methane at over 1200 mph...!).

there's a story behind it. tldr, its a failed terraformed moon. thing's didn't go well and didn't work 100% because of the exotic materials in the ground (which you can mine at a later stage)

I watched the trailer on Steam. You're supposed to take minerals back and forth to the station with the pod. I'll be buying it next week.

The only mineral to go back to the station is exotics. For that you need a special pod (need a blueprint to be able craft). The only things that you can keep when returning to the station are what you brought down with you. Everything else just 'disappears' when you go down to the surface again.

It's much better than it used to be and it does have some options that help performance. I'd recommend installing on an SSD though!

One thing that puzzles me with this game, is this weird need to mine oxygen on a planet covered with oxygen breathing animals in a verdant wilderness of happily photosynthesising plants. Maybe you could try taking your helmet off, as I think you may have landed on Earth

I have an RTX 2070 with a Ryzen 5600X. The GPU struggles sometimes with this game, so eventually I'd like to upgrade. And yes, it usually takes anywhere between 4-6 hours to edit a single video. I use OBS Studio (free) and Adobe Premiere Pro (you can do a free trial to try it out, but there are free and less expensive alternatives)

It depends on the level of the croc. Arrows don't do a ton of damage and their hard scales/skin give them even more protection

You need it as a source of oxygen. Later on, you can craft tanks to carry oxygen with you that you fill in machines. It is just one of the parameters you have to consider along with water and food.

I know a lot of games that are even worse in physics and being realistic. I love the many facets the game has to be aware of. Like for being wet, cold and hot. Getting food poisoning and infected wounds for not treating them. The fact Komodo dragons will attack you when you have a animal on your belt. There are some things that don’t seem logic. But a whole lot more that are. Really enjoying game, but you need to be a fan of it.
