Do you mean for professional use? Is the APSC sensor enough? I know a lot of pro video and cine cameras uses super 35, but for photography full frame have more advantages
@RM-hy4so Жыл бұрын
@@amermeleitor I think segmenting 35mm sensors (full frame) as something professionals use exclusively is probably not a truism. 35mm sensors due to their larger sensors definitely have an advantage if you want to blur the background or shoot in very low light. APSC sensors tend to have an advantage when photographing wildlife/birds. This is due to the field of view being cropped for the same focal length. This effectively gives you more reach with the same magnification. Concurrently they are also better for macro because the depth of field is less. Micro four thirds sensors tends to be best here. Smaller sensors all’s tend to scan faster and have less data to push through. So you can potentially shoot faster. In the case of the X-H2S and especially the OM-1 excel at adventure photography due to exceptional weather sealing of their bodies and lenses. The lenses tend to be smaller too, making it a lot more portable for hiking and wildlife photography. So, it really depends on your use case. I have both a 35mm sensor system as well as a Fujifilm APSC. I find that the Fujifilm’s film simulations give gorgeous colors straight out of camera. Fujifilm and Olympus systems seem to have gorgeous colors in my view. But it’s all personal and if full frame (35mm) sensors work for you, then you should go that way.

Well done! .. in 10 minutes.. I strive to be that on-point/succinct. I have been a Fuji shooter for about a decade and recently switched to Sony (A7IV) for a bit and then tried the Canon R6ii… after using the X-H2S. I should have never left the X-H2S and have since gone back to the X-H2S. AF of the X-H2S is 90/95% as good as the A7IV and R6ii. Colors from the Fuji are better. Build of the Canon is top notch but I just got tired of carrying all that weight. Also, if you don’t spend $$$ the quality of the Canon RF glass doesn’t match the Fuji. For example, I will put the Fuji 35 f2 up against the RF 35 1.8 ANY DAY.. Fuji wins and the Fuji 33 1.4 BLOWS that RF 35 1.8 away. Speaking of glass. Fuji wins all day.. The Fujicrons (23/3/50 f2) all shoot above their price tags. I am LOVING the 14mm 2.8.. the 70-300 is a great non-pro zoom and just as good as the RF 70-200 f4. I have owned them all. Where Fuji REALLY wins is community.. Fuji X Weekly and al the amazing recipes… I am so sued to sharing to a couple Fuji subreddits and when I went to do so with Canon I was informed that sharing images wasn’t welcome.. they want to talk about boring gear and printers.. but you CAN share a 💩 shot of your new gear.. but just don’t post a gorgeous SoCal sunset there.. So happy to be back with Fuji.. and I am not a pro but do shoot daily and now do all of our family’s photography needs.

Great video my man! I ditched a Sony a7iv for the fuji for most of the reasons you mentioned. Most people are very uninformed when it comes to sensor size. 10 year old beliefs mixed with great Sony/canon marketing has people believing sensor size is king when in reality what’s far more important is dynamic range, rolling shutter, high iso noise, and overall quality of the image. When I say quality of the image I mean does the sensor/processor render a digital looking image or a film like image.

Thank you for this review. I couldn't agree more. I'm a Panasonic S52X video shooter. It's a GREAT CAMERA. But I'm in the process of switching to the X-H2s. Why. For all the reasons you mentioned, especially the 6k internal Pro res recording, and I'm very impressed by the Auto focus, which is now up there with the big boys. Once that's done, the F-Log 2 is out of sight fantastic the best log codec I know of, closely followed by the Panasonic V-Log. The Film simulations are a treasure---far, far, far better than anything Sony or Canon can offer in Log codecs or LUTs. The X-H2s is a winner, and worth every penny. And wisely, Fuji has allowed some excellent third party lens makes to create great lenses, this includes adapters of Canon EF glass, Sigma, Tamron, and Viltrox, all have affordable excellent lenses that perform every bit as well as Fuji lenses. I hate to sell my Panasonic, but I can't afford to keep both. That said I have NOTHING negative to say about Panasonic. If you love full frame (I don't) the Panasonic S5iiX is the bargain of the market. But the Fuji is just better for me.

Sounds good!

The XH2s has still severe flaws and limitations looking at the AF C tracking performance (team sports) and freezing is still an issue. If they don't improve, I am selling my XH2s and XH2 end of this year.

Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. While I haven't experienced any freezing, that's terrible that you have.

Not one experience of freezing or tracking issues at all after 4 months of use. Maybe you got a defective one.

Same here. That was my thought but I was hesitant to say that.

You have to use it in boost mode

I’m dumping Fuji this week. Great system, but it lacks the clarity, sharpness, bokeh, DR and tonality of full frame.

If you’re not using DxO Pure Raw 3 to process Fuji RAW files you are not getting the best out of the images. If you aren’t getting sharp images you are doing something wrong. My X-Hs2 and XT5 images are as good or better than any of the full frame images I’ve taken.

@@JET-Photo I was using DXO. It does make a huge difference, yet still worlds apart from my current Nikon Z5 files.

@@FotosyMas. then you experienced something drastically different than I have. I’ve shot with a Z6, Z6II, Z5, Sony A9, A7RIIIa, A7III, A7C and Canon 6D MKII. I get the same IQ or better with my Fujis. But I also use the better Fuji lenses. No 3rd party except the Viltrox 75 1.2 Pro and 13 1.4, which are brilliant. Shot a wedding, several senior shoots, family shoots, portraits and sports. Nobody can tell me which ones are FF and which ones are Fuji APSC. Nobody.

Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment! Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision! However, so far, the Fuji has yet to disappoint!
