Banks are influenced by power plants, it really speed up the process of getting that damn achievement. And in the feat tab you can see the progress of your achievements, you don't even have to pick up the coins from the bank. :D

Another thing that effects the banks is the Industrious blessing. Also the storm rod if you continually shoot it at a structure it actually speeds it up as well. Another important note is that the shrines are affected by drones, lightning rods and power plants which cuts the recharge time way down.

It got patched long before the void stuff was added to the game. Now every structure gives back resources that were used to build itself and not resources that were used to build the last kind if itself. So if you started from building stuff that used to cost 10 stone and kept building until they costed 10k stone the first one would still give back 10 stone when broken and the last one would give back 10k stone when broken.

Wanna save time ? Here is an exploit for you : build at half price and deconstruct when the buff ends to duplicate your building materials it's faster than furnaces since it gets EXPONENTIALLY faster. Just get 5 or 6 shrines and you should be able to double the resources or your choosing every few minutes. Do note the "industrious" buff can reduce the cooldown of other shrines.
