Imma be real with you here (cue 'get real' theme music): I grew up with both dessert always every day, and evening snacks. Also, we would eat dinner at like 8PM, sometimes later. And at some point I started eating at friends' houses and staying over and stuff, and realized that 1. a lot of people eat dinner at FIVE PM?! (I'm Dutch btw), 2. a lot of people DO NOT EAT DESSERT?! or if they do, it's like... Plain yoghurt?! 3. possibly the worst, when combined with the 5/6PM dinner, a lot of people do not have evening snacks 😭 I would always be hungry again by 8/9PM and I would just be fucked I guess. Just go hungry until breakfast rolls around. So, long story short, I agree with you, Miles. Have the ice cream. Have it after dinner, and then again later at night. Live your life to the full!

After more than a year of GI hell and a month on the surgical ward, I started going through a wide variety of different and insane cravings, one of which was ice cream. In the 16 months since the surgical ward I've been through a lot of ice cream (although, still not _every single day_ but more than a I few times I've put away a couple gallons in a single day, so it may average out), and can say that B&J and talento are basically the only grocery store ice cream that I'll buy. On the other hand, I was also introduced to Handel's and their ice creams never cease to seriously impress me, and their customer service is even better. (I have absolutely no affiliation, I'm just genuinely that big of a fan!) If you want great ice cream, with even better service, and there's a Handel's around, just treat yourself!
