Okay, I scrolled to see if anyone else said it but I only went so far down before becoming bored so: The reason it didn't steam the milk the first time is because you literally released all the pressurized steam right before steaming your milk, causing warm water to come out, and apparently milk to suck in when turned off :) Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
