Why we don't talk about how creative and artistic Kevin is? His talking is literally illustrates that he is a writer/poet at heart

Kind of distracting me tho. Kind of becoming too much. But I surely think its very artistic

Seriously. So wonderfully talented. It's no wonder Yale wanted him in their cohort, and it's also no wonder he has created a thriving business based on helping others with storytelling. He is a brilliant and observant creative writer, and his generosity in helping others and caring about their outcomes, as well as their worth as individuals, is inspiring.

What if I have nothing interesting about myself to write about? I have just been stumped about coming up with a college essay topic for so long because of the lack of things I’ve done over my high school years. I have no interests or hobbies that I could share, fields or majors that I’m interest in because I don’t know myself well enough. Honestly the hardest part of this is I don’t know how to love myself or how to even begin to find things that separate me from other people. I feel like I’m just your average Joe who has nothing special up ahead for them in future. If I disappeared from the planet I bet no one would even notice except my parents. I’m just so disgusted and disappointed in myself for being unable to do anything right in life and having things I could be passionate or enjoy doing. Sorry for the rant but this is something I needed to get off my chest so badly :(

Hi Kevin! I'm trying to apply tip#1 on my opening and closing sentences. My essay is about how I'm thankful for a certain experience with my friends and how it motivated me to spread empowerment to others. "I'm not usually grateful when someone breaks my phone. It's also unlikely that the culprit will become my best friend for the next four years" "I'll continue to play my part in breaking mental loops, even if I have to break a phone in the process" I was unsure if the last line felt a bit forced, any feedback?

Well, not everyone wants to be a liberal arts major at a community college. I think college admissions offices have their priorities skewed in the wrong direction if they apply the same yardstick to each candidate's application. Seriously, if someone wants to major in quantum physics or molecular genetics with an end-goal of a career on the cutting edge of human understanding of the fabric of the universe or the very foundations of biological life itself, if I were to be an admissions officer, I sure would not want to be dragged through some emotionally-manipulative sob story fabricated to draw the reader in, or shown political leadership qualities, or the candidate's commitment to social-activism, crusading for the cause-du-jour in their spare time. No, I would want to see evidence of their passion for their chosen majors, their proven ability to endure the academic rigor those majors would demand, resilience under pressure to ensure their success, and moral character to be a good citizen on campus. That is what I would look for in all STEM majors, especially if it's a Tier-1 Research University.
