I agree. The ending....... They're literally so chill about the fact that THRAWN HAS ESCAPED. That's literally the thing they were trying to prevent for like 7.5 episodes! And then Ahsoka's all like "It's time to move on" Yeah, ok. move on later plz! Thrawn is headed to a witch planet with very powerful witches who can unlock who knows what. ANd u don't even know if Ezra wasn't captured. And he's gonna bring back an EMPIRE. So plz find a way to get off the planet and at least attempt to stop him. Or maybe just have a little bit of concern! Plus, I wanted a scene of all remaining Rebels characters at da end (hope for season 2 tho) That might've seemed like I didn't like the show. But i LOVED it. I just would like a season 2 ASAP to clear up all that. Rumors r some demon lady who lived on Mortis (Abeloth) is coming back and their focus is on stopping her. But no. Just no. I have to ask how you loved a show that undercut “7.5 episodes” as you yourself said and had the characters not care they opened up the chance for a galactic scale war. Not to mention Ezra doesn’t care in the slightest about how Sabine got there and finding out his entire sacrifice was in vain after a few years. Does plot really matter so little because it’s Star Wars? They could do anything as long as you see Asoka and Ezra and Thrawn? If they do get this season 2, I hope they can manage to actually make a functional story and stop just key jangling.

That clip when the Clone Wars flashbacks started and Thrawn returned was literally me. I need more Yuyang and Wzra and the two of them interactiong. Also Thrawn being Thrawn. Maybe Ahsoka’s so chill at the end because she thinks Wzra and Herra and co got this? Still she and Sabine really need to work on getting back and or following Baylan. Both require more urgency than they’re showing. But in all seriousness I loved this show for the most part.

It's edits like these that make me happy to be a Star Wars fan. I never expected this show to be perfect, I'm an animated Star Wars fan primarily, of course it was going to lack that same level of polish. Still, I'm glad for what we got. They brought Ezra home, Thrawn's back, and Hayden Christensen finally got the respect he deserves, with the best live-action Anakin we've seen. If that's not a net positive, I don't know what is. But yeah, the finale was rushed. Definitely a byproduct of being restricted to only eight episodes. I mean, Bad Batch got more twice as many episodes in its seasons than this*. Yet another reason why animated Star Wars (plus Andor**) is best Star Wars. And that includes the (good) video games, because that's technically animation. *Then again, that show only has half-hour episodes, whereas this has hour-long episodes, so it's really a similar amount of time (8 hours of content), with Boba Fett, Kenobi, and even S7 Clone Wars having less than that. **Which had a whopping 12 hours of content for its first season.
