After Season 2 I feel like there was way too little jedi/darside stuff because they cut off the inquisitors and vader stopped hunting them with little to no explanation. Thrawn did save the show for a little but I felt like it was lacked.

Imo it needed to be more realistic and i felt dissapointed how little ezra was tempted by the dark/no feelings for sabine (only arc that wasnt explored enough). Unlike the clone wars which had multiple arcs from different povs.

haha, love this. i highly recommend it. it’s obviously a bit more childish than clone wars (only because disney released it on disney xd for more profit 🙄) but i think both shows execute different things/messages. clone wars focuses more on the political/war side of things which is great and really interesting! rebels focuses more on a journey of a jedi and just how bad the empire impacted everybody. the characters in both shows are amazing. i know the first few episodes of rebels can be tiring seeing as they are a bit silly but i would definitely recommend it! it has some of the best plots you’ll ever see in star wars, and if you’re going to be watching any future star wars projects (ahsoka, mandalorian, etc) rebels is a definite must watch seeing as the ahsoka series will be focusing on the characters from rebels. sorry that was a lot, but i love this show and i definitely think you should give it a shot! there’s some good humor as well 🥰
