The storages have multiple inputs and one output. They're great for easily adding another source of whatever is stored. The junctions have multiple outputs, so they are great for easily adding another sink. For instance, you can have all of your tree plantations feeding one lumber container (like you already do), but then, instead of connecting the lumber container to the burner generator, connect it to a junction and connect the _junction_ to the burner generator. That way, if you need more power, you can simply build a new burner generator and connect it to the junction; you don't have to worry as much about where its fuel will come from. Similarly, you could probably use a junction to connect both types of mines to the one smelter, so that it will make both types of metal bars. However, you might also need a sorting junction on the smelter's output if you want to store them individually.

"I wish there was a water tank"... that is what resource storage is for. This isn't a "realistic" game, where you need tanks to store liquid. Both water and oil can simply be put into the normal storage.

@blitz you should educate all of your workers to be smarter it takes a lot of time and better to have the academy on duty all the time. Acivment have more robot workers then normal workers. Educated or solger not calculated .
