Also I did find that to save a little bit of time in the beginning you can hover the cigar in front of where the hole will be and it will be sucked into place so you don't have to mess with it after the death engine goes off

I have some tips to make you go faster for the crate with the passcode if you squirt some of the orange juice on it it opens it automatically.if you freeze the cigar where it clogs up the hole it should go there by its self. You can use the can of meat (thing next to orange juice) as a fuse. Thank you for the great video anyway you are the one who helped me get all speed run tasks down.

I've got a couple timeskips/optimizations for you. 1) You can hover the cigar over where the hole will appear, it'll automatically insert itself when the hole appears. 2) When you unscrew the fusebox, you can quickly hit it with the lid to automatically clear any broken fuses. 3) You can use the meat can as another fuse. Before the engine fires, hover the can of meat near the fusebox. When you do get access to the box, put the 2 fuses in slots 4 and 2. This saves time as you can start multitasking inputting the switch sequence as well as turning on the far door. 4) You can use the pouch of orange juice to break the case when you do eventually get it to your cabin. Just squirt it near the buttons and it should open automatically. I'd hover the OJ near the door beforehand to get a head start on it. 5) You don't have to wait for Solaris to throw the radioactive waste at you. You can flush the gravity crystal once you've got the arm. (Switch the fuses from 2 and 4 to 3 and 4.) You can then deposit the crystal into the laser and destroy the death engine.

0:23 tip of advice, if you grab the OJ you can short circuit the box so you can skip the password

The snack cabinet is your friend: the can of meat can function as a fuse, and the juice container can short out the lock on the chest. Thanks to that, you can spend the first few seconds just rushing to open the airlock, grab the space helmet, and utterly ignore the life support system for the rest of the run.

I mean I know this is very late but the actual quickest way to do it is to 1. Get the helmet by glitching it through the door 2. Get the meat tube and juice out of the container and set them up close to where you’ll need them 3. Once you’ve done those you’ll have plenty of time to wait to get the electric wrench which you grab the second you can 4. Then unscrew the panel turn the power off and place both the meat and the tube in the 2 and 4 slot 5. After that open the outer door do the quick gravity thing in the video then close the outer door and open the inner one 6. Then after that quickly turn the power off again and take the tube and put it in the 3 slot then turn the power back on again 7. After that use the juice to open the crate and grab the arm and place it in the slot 8. Use the arm to take the lid of the laser and then throw it away 9. Then take the gravity crystal out and flush it down the toilet and use the arm to guide it into the laser If you’ve done it correctly you should hopefully beat the score you need Hope this helps

Here’s some things to make it wayyy Easier. 1: get the juice and meat can from above the door, the juice works as a pick lock for the crate to instantly open it and the meat can can be used as a fake fuse 2:just hover the cigar right next to the wall where the hole will be and it will very likes automatically pop in it 3: you can grab the red outline on the bottom of the gravity controls revealing the gravity crystal. This can be flushed down the toilet and then grabbed by the arm to put in the reactor core and destroy it.

Unlocking the container can be skipped by using the juice packet to short circuit it. You can also flush the crystal down the toilet to save time instead of waiting for nuclear wastes to be thrown at you.

I would say the best strategy is to ignore all this, grab the gravity crystal, shove it through the walls, and beat the level in 27 seconds.

You actually don't need the toxic waste if you grab the crystal from the gravity control device and flush it down the toilet to your right it will appear outside in space if you grab it with the magnet and put it in the death engine maintenance area it will do the same thing but with a purple color instead of green

I know this is a year old but there's a faster way to beat the level by skipping all steps Shove your hand into the gravity switcher grabbing the crystal from inside and shove it through the wall next to the bottom left window (so you don't break the glass) and once through there shove it into the panel where the lazer is with telekinesis and bam you done in under a minute, I've speedran this game a couple of times and was really confused when I saw someone use this trick if you want to see it look up the wr speedrun it's about 8mins

You can also flush the crystal from under the gravity controller and use that in place of the radioactive crate. It's more consistent but takes a bit more time

She’s always in conversation with Dr. Zor when I get the door off with the robot arm, but I found out that you can use the gravity crystal as a replacement. (If gravity isn’t on, at the bottom of the gravity control box you can pull it down and find the crystal. Turn air locks on, open the toilet, put the crystal in the toilet, close the toilet and flush. Once the crystal is in space you can grab it with the robot arm and toss it into the reactor)

Ah, this is a bug that a number of people have encountered. I got around it by restarting a few times (if she didn't immediately throw the waste when I grabbed the shield, I'd just use the arm to smash the shuttle and start over).

Hopefully! I think they're working on the sound bug right now. If you do everything else fast (use the orange juice to pick the lock, use the can as a fuse for less switching - you should have time to blow it up with the crystal so you don't have to wait for her.
