Grew up in Bakersfield in the 50s. The down town area was always done up in lights since then I've never seen anything like it anywhere else.But it's changed so much I don't even recognize it any more . Both grandparents houses are gone now, but my hold house I grew un in is still there .As a kid great place to grow up in but now it's just not the same.
