The reason there are no elephants in Nairobi is because elephants don't respect park borders and would wreak havoc upon the city like they do in to villages in other parts of Kenya. But I"m happy and proud to report that Kenya is one of the few African countries that have got the poaching problem under control. They still have work to do in Southern Africa.

lions and other animals leaving the park are a common occurence only during the drought months especially into the residential estates near the park like rongai(common to look into your cctv cameras and see a lion passing by foraging for food as most prey have probably migrated so don't walk out late night), the park isn't fully enclosed for various reason like to prevent the animals getting stuck in one gene pool over years and also for pasture migration ,you probably find vast continuous forests and savannahs on the other ends of these parks that form some sort of land bridge corridor and they end up connecting to other parks and ends of the country, these mostly end up forming the large sparsely populated parts of kenya away from the towns and cities.

I disagree since Masai found only in Kenya and Tanzania 🇹🇿 are the face of tourism in Africa plus the Himba in Namibia. Are you saying millions visit Masai for tourism? Look at the shuka (clothes) and beads and bracelets that so many foreigners buy and also the Masai culture. Ghana is marketing itself because of the slave castles so our folks can come back and invest as they reconnect. Outside of that, what culture are you talking about?
@JC-ty3zq Жыл бұрын
@@ProudBootyscratcher NOT TRUE.Europeans who make up the majority of Kenyan tourists do NOT COME to Kenya to SEE the MASAI or the HIMBA in NAMIBIA.Most of them come to Kenya to see the WILD ANIMALS,eg going to places like Masai Mara,Nairobi parks etc etc etc.The same with South Africa,they go and see the WILD ANIMALS in the Kruger National Park and many other parks in SA.

Of course, people should know how much it costs and prepare accordingly but I would say the safari is inexpensive because the comparison should be with actual safaris which would cost thousands of dollars to experience in Kenya or anywhere else (Tanzania, SA etc.).
