Idk of this is still in the game but you choud get 170 lowgrade and 60 crude oil from 1 diesel in a pump jack wich is 350 lowgrade and then use 300 of that to buy 1 diesel from outpost. Esentially giving you unlimeted diesel.

Another way to collect a ton of diesel fuel is just buying it for LGF at outpost. With the new Christmas update in rust you can get 750 crude from a large present!!! And each diesel is only 300 LGF. You might say it would take too long because of timers but no. No no no no, when you buy LGF with scrap at outpost it resets the buy timer. Insane method!

The best way to get diesel, it to buy it at outpost. You can run a pump jack, with the diesel, get a TON of fuel/crude, process that crude and use it to buy diesel. Or you can use scrap to buy fuel and trade it for diesel. At a certain point in the game you no longer need comps/scrap so you can get a TON of diesel this way.
