Considering the speed and direction of Hecarim at the time, she could have been knocked basically any which way. But somehow, Xerath "happens" to q direct centre on where she was going to be. A lot of the products are actually pretty standard, but some of the things are just really suspicious. Being a xerath main myself, scripters just piss me off a ton. It's really annoying to have a script accusation thrown at you as a stereotype.

I was thinking that easy predicts at first cause it was obvious that you would go for the minion but one thing that I learned playing against a scripter once and even from someone who used scripts. The easiest way to tell on Xerath for a scripter is the ult. If its a perfect center every time its scripts. Certain champions have a specific script, Kog AA movement, Xerath ult is the key to knowing, cass is movement. All is all nice work and help get people like this out of the community to help everyone else.

the big thing that shows someone is scripting isn't even the reaction timing being less than 5 frames. it's the fact that it's ALWAYS less than 5 frames. it's not that the *speed* is inhuman. it's the consistency, and moreover the fact that the "player" in question will NEVER drop an input. you can bait the program into missing or miss-timing. but it will NEVER flub a shot or drop an input. the second biggest tell is actually pretty simple to see too. because a script is a program, it will always have limited functionality. when you exceed what it is programmed for, it won't change it's patterns, raise or lower it's apm, or bait you out because it can't. i wanted to be a bit clearer, but bobqin is right when he says: "what gives it away is how mechanical it all is"

Went against a scripting Yi, in one instance he dove took me out mid and the split second the tower shot was going to kill him he used W. His script worked so fast literally everyone on my team was confused as to why the tower didnt kill. His W animation didnt even fully go off. You could only tell by the faint green hue he let off.

I wrote the #1 most used Xerath script on Leaguebot back inthe day. Xerath was known to be the most effective champ for scripting, and also the most obvious. We used to say, "Never script on Xerath," because it was THE best way to get caught. Not only is he pure skillshot, but his Q is super visual and obvious. When someone flashes into a Xerath Q, well... you're not getting away with it, period. I know I'm not getting any respect here for what I used to do, but for the record, I haven't had anything to do with scripting since Leaguebot died. What, like 10 years? The only reason I did it is because as I learned LUA I found out I enjoyed it more than actually playing the game. At the time, I did very little scripting in-game outside some testing. There came a point it seemed Riot became very good at banning scripters, and I'm sorry to see it may be back in action, because it looks like this guy has played many games without being banned. What a shame. By the way, I have another channel, same name, that has a video I made back in 2013 advertising a purely visual script I wrote called, "Brautigan's Cooldown Circles," featuring a pretty cool concept I came up with. I was most proud of that one, because it only provided information, and didn't do anything to play the game for you. You can check it out with a simple search, "Cooldown Circles."
