Idk if it’s just the guys I’m facing but it seems like it’s way easier to recognize the pitch out of the hand this year and people are a lot more disciplined with what they do and don’t swing at. In 22 and 21 it seemed like everyone was swinging at the low changeup but now no one is. Also hitting is fun but it seems like you HAVE to hit in the zone, if the ball lands even a centimeter outside the zone it seems like it’s an out 95% of the time even if it’s a great swing.

from what i have seen its all about hitting and the batters def hold the advantage... Dont provide them all the power by throwing fastballs inside. against rhb throw the curves to contact to the left side of the plate and same with lhb throw offspeed to the opposite side and make them generate the power, just try and work the bottom of the zone to ensure they have to be that much more perfect to hit one out....rewatch this vid most of the stuff you got him out on was the soft stuff away...everyone sits FB in this game so if you gotta give a dog a bone that's fine just make it unhittable....plant the seed somewhere in the back of their head they think its coming and go back to the junk....you just gotta keep people off balance the best you can

My biggest problem is what you did this game. I start off hot af, 4+ runs in the first inning or two. Rest of the game the ball just dies at the track and it’s super frustrating. Playing on hall of fame is starting to kill my mood with this game😅

I really don't like sinkers. If you miss just a little they're getting slapped mega far. and I would NEVER throw one on a 0-2, 2-0, 3-0, or 3-2 count. (FYI that Lindor 99 absolutely crushes sinkers low in the zone, or just out of the zone, he's the absolute best I've seen at being able to do that. 2nd is David Justice) my favorite pitches are Down and away sliders. Backfoot sliders. High heat up and in, cutter down and away, cutter on the hands, Curve low out of the zone off a high fastball. Setting up a pitch with another pitch is critical. If you're just throwing pitches without thinking 2 pitches ahead you're not doing it right.

After 10 games of Ranked I've realized the downside of soo many high 90 hitters day 1 of the game. Mid 90 pitchers aren't good, they can't locate & most have low H9 & PCTRL. So this leads to everything being completely smashed especially sense we start off Ranked on Veteran difficulty. You also have max elevation stadiums which also leads to mid 90 pitchers getting smoked easily. Played a game last night, my opponent had very small, max elevation stadium. We both put up 30+ runs. Probably the worst feeling game I've played

Bro you are throwing balls middle in to power bats. Pro tip in pitching, u want to stay away from the barrel. Cutters down and in to lefties get absolutely crushed (same with CBs. You have to go high cheese fastballs and changeups low and away to get weak contact and late swing decisions.

Welcome to every beginners life. I’ve been playing this game for 5+ months and still can’t hit consistently . It’s the hardest sports game that exists and it’ll take you a long ass time to pick it up. I would be willing to bet it turns off a lot of beginners and makes them stop playing the game. My best advice , from someone whose still not good at hitting but has just started to get a little better is figure out where you worst at hitting pitches then go into practice mode and set it so you get pitches in that location consistently and practice like 30 mins atleast everyday you play . You’ll start to get better. Also mess with the hitting camera views. Most people suggest strike zone for beginners but I personally don’t like it. Makes it hard for me to tell when a pitch is gonna be below the zone. I’ve had my best luck with the “zoom” hitting view but everyone’s different . Mess around with it. Also mess around with the PCI. See what works for you best . You’ll get better but again. Hardest sports game that exists and it’ll take a long time to pick up.
