Idk why but this was one of my favorite videos you’ve posted recently. It felt so chill and natural. You are so honest posting about you experience with such an unrealistic challenge. It’s affirming to know that someone else failed it too because all we see on social media are the “success” stories
@Lowkeyone203 ай бұрын
It's realistic. Don't say it isn't because you failed.

I listened to your podcast on 75 hard while I was out for a run (preparing for a marathon) & your comments on burnout really resonated with me. Sometimes I get so into the grind of training that I feel scared to let my body rest for a few days thinking I'll lose out on all the progress I've made, but the importance of rest & recovery can't be overstated and your talk on that stuff really hit home! Also the way you crafted the tacos is *chef's kiss* 🍋

I’m so glad you have shared you journey! I started doing 75 soft beginning of the year and I was doing great but all of the sudden my depression was the worst it had ever been. I actually was listening to your podcast while I was on a walk and you were talking about how you were struggling also and it felt so validating. I kept telling myself if I wasn’t working a 40 hour week job I’d be able to do this challenge but knowing that you were struggling also made me feel not so alone. I had stopped doing things that brought me joy (hanging with friends and I also make cakes as a side hustle) not matter what, I’m proud of how far we have come and what I’ve learned in the process. Thank you for not being afraid to admit when we failed a challenge but I’m proud of us no matter what ❤️

This video reminded me of how I should perceive daily routines, habits, etc. I always tried to be disciplined, and whenever I broke the chain of one of my habits, such as drinking water, reading my Bible, etc. I got disappointed and didn't continue with my habits. I just couldn't see myself giving up. Now, when I saw this video, I immediately clicked on it to see how you are going to cope with the stress of failing a challenge. And I see your attitude towards it, which is very calm, and you accept that "yes, I failed the challenge," but nothing prevents me from beginning everything again. Thank you, Ava, for reminding me that I can always start from the beginning.
@logandavidson355610 ай бұрын
🍋 I totally get this. I go through cycles of doing good with eating right and exercising but then I fall away from those healthy habits and I basically have to start all over. I always get so mad and disappointed with myself.
@katopotato359210 ай бұрын
I am also doing 75 hard, and definitely fell off around the same time and told myself last night, that I need to get my act together and seeing this has definitely helped! It's honestly harder than we think when we have the motivation at the start, but I think anyone who even attempts it should be proud of themselves. Hopefully in the future I will fully do it but I have to thank the challenge for getting me in the gym for the first time and doing exercise more than just seasonal sport.

its almost as if challenges are just challenges and it shouldn't be anything crazy when you "fall off" or get swept up in life. 🍋I agree 100%, it's gotta be Micah's hair. It's the only reasonable explanation! I've been taking baby steps with exercise since I've never done it before. I've started with stretching and making sure I can move freely before lifting some weights. Something about a gym is just so intimidating. I'll get there!🍋

Girl!! I thinks it's amazing that you want to challenge yourself, but don't forget that it's also really important to adapt your productivity to your menstrual cycle (I say it also from personal experience). We can't treat ourselves the same way all month, otherwise it's not going to be a sustainble in the long term. Good luck with everything and don't be too harsh with yourself❤.

It’s always great to just have a day. Day to do all the things that bring us joy. I did 75 hard and finished all the way to Phase 2. I was so consumed to it. It didn’t bring me joy but it taught me a lot about myself. So there’s something about it. I tried it recently again and failed. I don’t plan on doing it any time soon.
