Honestly. It was nice to see someone else having difficulty with the trial chambers too. I found it really wholesome your response to losing your stuff also. You just chalked it up to one of the losses that happen, and then moved on to something you like. In this case it was making a sick pond for our friends.

Yeah the baby zombies and a Ominous trial is a recipie for disaster, I had used 7 totems of undying just to survive TWO Spawners

Trial Chambers can be relatively easy, if you are well prepared with enchanted armor and weapons and if you have a good strategy for dealing with them. Trial spawners activate by line-of-sight. Try activating them only one at a time and have blocks on hand to pillar up to get away from zombies. When the trial spawners are completed cover them with solid blocks to prevent them activating after their cool down time passes. You can control spawner activation and even contain the mobs with walls when you run them again, especially for Ominous Trials. Be sure to carefully explore each Chamber - there can be hidden rooms. Be sure to look up - trial rooms and platforms overhead can be easily missed, and vaults are often placed high or behind copper grates.

Once you've bucket'd an axolotl, it will no longer despawn. You can also name them in an anvil without using a name tag.

Late coming in here, but wanted to tell you, axolotl love to swim in flowing water and I’ve found if you provide them with moving water they will not wander off. I’ve had my pond/alcove with them for months and not lost a single one

When I build floors in the ground, I use slabs like you are here but I dig down one block to place torches or lanterns in for under floor lighting. Slabs allow for light to come through and has a vary nice effect too.

i reccomend using sheers and cutting the glowberries at the end if you don’t want them to be specifically long long! you can cut them at different lengths to make everything look prettier!

i think u could add some amethyst and cherri blosom garden build to one of the terraces. maybe make it like, a brewing spot and bookhelves for ur spells. outdoors.

If you find a pillager on your boat you could let him destroy his crossbow by sitting on the boat, he won't be able to damage you and once the crowbar is broken it's basically a peaceful mob

Honestly, for how under prepared you were I thought you did really well. I'd suggest just doing the all trial rooms first before using an ominous bottle on one. Potions of strength and a good enchanted bow and sword really help. Then I'll think you'll find the basic rooms quite easy.

How about a formal garden on the other terrace? Maybe in the style of an English garden from a stately home? That would include shallow, regular shaped ponds, flower beds, and maybe a fountain.
