Yep, my friend knew someone this happened to back in high school. The girl was at a party with friends when her mom called and said she had accidentally k!lled the cat while doing laundry. She didn't realize the poor cat had jumped in during the split second she was turned around to grab more clothes to put in the dryer. It's important to teach your animals and small children to keep a healthy fear of dangerous things. Teaching them that dangerous heavy machinery is a safe, warm bed is exceedingly reckless.
