For Chigiri, he explained last episode that his injury has been healed for awhile so there's no pain, only thing holding him back is his own fear of playing full throttle and injuring himself again. Theory i thought of after watching this - What if Ego decides as a way of punishment that Kuon switching sides means when Team W loses then Kuon also gets booted. Taking that into account, since Team Z would be down a player, maybe Ego brings back the blonde from the first episode to replace him on the team?
