Really profound and moving cinematic document. The character is embodied to a very heartbreaking vulnerability in an unsettling realistic retelling of an experience that many undergo, their stories of suffering and pain reduced to mere vague artefacts in the collective trauma of political violence - and its many regressive manifestations, unsung, unheard and inadvertently easily lost, perhaps forever. The human cost of conflict can never be reduced to a mere statistic nor should be debated over its varying subjective experience. The resilience and unwavering fight to preserve freedom in Ukraine is a testament to the enduring human spirit as much is deplorable the unrelenting pathology of toxic obsession with conflict of the aggressors - be it people or states.
