I own a fairly decent sized florist. I used to have 2 locations but last year I closed one. I started selling on Poshmark last year after my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Thrifting was my therapy. Thank you for sharing the ropes with us! I am also a mom of 2 kids, and we fostered 4 month old twins 2 years ago. I don’t know how we do it, but I give all the glory to God. My mom died in February and I was her only child (she was widowed). We are stronger than we think. Hang in there. You are doing an amazing job!

I have no idea how people have children and make a living. I am single in my 40s and work a demanding job. I cannot imagine coming home from work and taking care of anything more than my 2 dogs and cat. Feeding, supporting, loving, preparing kids for the next day sounds daunting. I give you so much credit.

Here I sit in my living room and I'm enjoying your post very much. I'm a 73 yrs old and live alone. I just want to give you and your followers a virtual hug and say "this too shall pass". We women have it tuff with the little ones. But just know when you get to my age you will remember these trying times as the very BEST part of your life. I would have loved to do what you are doing with the clothes and shoes and selling. Too late for me, but I get lots of fun watching your channel and I too love love love "TREATS".

Ashley, I don't have a clue why I watch your videos because I'm not a reseller nor do I go to garage sales. I'm a retired grandma who loves crafts. That said I always smile when I see your videos pop up. You are so fun. So sincere. And you could probably sell ice to Eskimos. I'm glad you are turning the postpartum corner and felt comfortable with sharing. Young motherhood is no joke. Hang in there and know we're here for you. ❤❤♥️

Thank you so much for sharing some personal thoughts. Life is stages I have discovered at the age of 72. I raised my kids and helped with grandkids and was looking at a relaxing retirement but now I’m caring for my very sick husband. It’s been a struggle. Reselling has been my godsend quite frankly. I love the business and it helps to pay for a lot of things we couldn’t otherwise afford as well as giving me an outlet. Your vids are definitely a bright spot so please remember that you are positively impacting a lot of people whenever you feel down. All the best to you and your family.

Listen, you are so right! You deserve a treat every hour! Being a Mom and working at anything to is hard! I’m 65 and those days if peanut butter on the walls are over, but trust me I still remember being overwhelmed as a first time Momma. You don’t get enough sleep, you eat what you can grab and it’s our nature to take care of everybody in our lives and it’s hard! You are doing an amazing job! Just remember God loves you and so do we on KZbin!❤️

Ashley I haven't been a new Mom in twenty two years. But I was 31 when I had my baby. I remember how hard it was on me, I knew I loved my baby but I couldn't connect with him. I was depressed and knew it was postpartum and I had to get help. I say all that to say you're not alone and we all experience something at some point. I struggle with depression and anxiety and ADHD and I never knew I had it, I'm 53 now. You are an inspiration to me and I love your content.

I’m so thrilled that young people are buying used clothing and reselling. I’m 70 and my 3 kids always wore the cutest thrifted clothes growing up. Seems like they only got new things from Nordstrom etc on birthdays and Christmas but even then I loved the used stuff more. I loved finding gems for cheap. And now my grandkids are loving the best things I find them when I hit the GW and Value Village etc. Makes me happy and they appreciate the savings and want to come along with me🥰

A big SHOUT OUT to AShley. As a grandmother in her sixties, I can still relate to your sentiments on how hard new motherhood is!!! Physically, Emotionally and Mentally it is just hard slog. It is fantastic to see you being so transparent and sharing your real feelings and emotions. I wish it had been the same when I was a young mum 40 yeays ago. Keep talking and telling it ,like it really is. New mums need as much support as they can possibly get, so be proud and be loud. You are doing the world a favour and supporting your own mental health and that of other new mums, who I am sure appreciate your honesty more than you will ever know.

Yesss! First of all, amazing scores at that first sale! But really, I'm right there with you. You are one of the most down to earth and genuine resellers. I have a 6yo, 3yo, and 9 month old. I homeschool, resell part time, and am studying for my contractor's license. So all day, I take care of the kids, homeschool, cook, clean, etc. We spend a few hours together as a family after my husband comes home. Then we put the kids to bed and I have to get back up and package orders or photograph items or study my textbooks for the exam coming up. Some nights I am exhausted and struggle to find the motivation to do anything. Thanks for sharing your struggle.

It’s a straight battlefield the first few years, and it took me a long time to realize that I was living in survival mode for at least the first year. I don't know if I've shared this before but I lightly spray our casual shoes with Simple Green all-purpose cleaner, let it soak in for about 10 minutes and throw them in the washer with an old towel. I use a normal warm wash cycle and high spin. I stuff them with dry towels or rags and let them dry outside in the sun or just in a warm room. It doesn't work with leather of course but everything else works amazingly! I've never ruined a pair of shoes and it's almost effortless. Even my sons Hey Dudes that he wears in a plastics factory look new. Parenting isn't easy, but it is forever worth the struggles! Focus on the sweet moments and the joys ... they make it all so much easier. Parenting is a journey that drives me to my knees continually - I pray for our children, for wisdom and strength daily. My kids are young adults and it's still how I cope with the worries and stresses of parenting. And God is faithful to hear and answer. He is good!

My youngest is 17 months and I sooo appreciate your words. ❤ I love my kids so much, but seriously those first couple of years are killer. It's hard remembering you are an actual person who deserves to have and go for your own goals!

I’ve never heard anyone explain the 2 years after a baby so well. I was afraid I was weird, so I didn’t talk about it. Thank you for being so open and honest. It really helped me to hear that I’m not alone. ❤

Terry, your story is so inspiring to me. I love that no matter what our journey has been or where we've come from, we can always turn it around and forge a new path! I've done that to some extent, too. It feels so empowering to know we hold the power to change no matter what!! Thank you for being vulnerable with me and for being so generous with your kindness. 🥰

Thank you for sharing your struggles. I have a 2 month old and I spend most of my day tending to her needs. It’s been hard finding the time to look for a new route of income that allows more family time . 3 more weeks then I have to go back to my soul sucking 8-5 job. I don’t know how full time working moms do it. I’m about to find out.

Sending hugs. I would have loved to hear this when my kids were small. Everyone made it look so easy and that their life was always fantastic and I felt like I was the only one who struggled sometimes. Thanks for your honesty ❤

I don't understand how someone doesn't understand treats. It's the little things to bring some joy 🙂 Love your candid feelings. It's so easy to compare ourselves to others but it is motivating to see that someone else who struggles keeps going and doesn't give up.

Love the channel and the honesty on postpartum, I'm a fellow Utahn and been married for 31 years with 4 kids, my wife explained it to me one day saying, Just because it isn't realm doesn't mean it doesn't feel real. There is no logic-ing away depressed feelings, just feel them and hold on, I don't think I got it until she told me that way. You're awesome and thanks for helping me in a category I stink at, clothes

I have a 3 month old, working full time, and reselling. I'm doing my best, but it's a lot to juggle. I can relate to the tears and the joy of it all. I appreciate how real and raw you are. Love your videos. :)

Thanks for sharing with us. Women for the longest time were suffering because no one knew postpartum existed. Not only women, but everyone needs to know they aren’t alone. You’ve given me joy by feeding my love of finding cool things at a deal while I’ve been depressed lately. So in your way you’ve helped by filling the time for me with something fun and distracting. So thank you!
