@@ohtartarsauce6301 Also one of the really fucked up things is that it's gonna be horrible to try to litigate it cause a lot of these companies are based in the US but a lot of artists aren't. So artists whose work was stolen for this are gonna have a hard time seeking justice if that's something they want to do. Changing copyright laws is also gonna be really complicated. And just the fact that the damage has already been done, idk how you would un-train an AI and I don't think companies would be willing to do it either.

i keep thinking about how these are only as funny as they are because kurtis made them so with his acting, line delivery, and editing. the ai generated scripts themselves aren't what's funny, it's the human creativity that went into interpreting them. it's a prime example of why trying to turn to ai over actual artists will fail every time.

Every time I ask for a story-based prompt--a short story, a play script, anything--the damn thing keeps writing me a happy or heartwarming ending, something with a moral. It's sickening in a way I can't quite place how a horror story titled "Blood Ghost" ends with finger-wagging about how "the little girl never disobeyed her wise grandma again".

Yesterday I showed my dad this video (he is intrigued by ai chat). I was worried at first because my sense of humour can be different than his, but he loved it! I’ve never seen my dad laugh this much in months. He was practically crying at the end of the scenes (we both agree that bad Santa was the funniest scene). He ended up sharing it with his coworkers who are also interested in ai-made things. It was so much fun watching this with him. I’m planning to show him the other ai video next
