Grats! Pugging is rough but something I noticed is you aren’t really pinging where you’re going as a tank. There’s a lot to be desired about pug dps but tbh some of that may be on you to take the lead as the tank too. I usually use MDT to prepare a route beforehand and share it with pug groups so the healers and dps have an idea of what to expect. If not I’ll ping which groups I’m pulling before I do so or where I’m moving. If kicks aren’t going out I’ll call people out in chat just to make sure lack of kicks isn’t an issue moving forward. Not everyone has OmniCD or your amazing plater profile so gotta help others sometimes with CD management etc using chat

great series and congratulations mate, giving bdk a go when its in a sad state like it is. Only thing i can say is you are way underutilising AMS. There are a lot of magic damage things you can use it on to help your survivability (lava giants fist attack for example) but also you can use it to get free runic power when your in a pack that doesn't have high magic damage tank busters such as intentionally standing in swirlies with the shadows. AMS only has 40 sec cd so use that to your advantage and pop it before you have to pop bigger cooldowns.

When u have no defensives and low rp start the pull with dnd to slow the pack and grip just one so you can build up some rp and boneshield or ask for externals otherwise you are prob dead

I rolled a DK after watching your videos and I haven't the balls to do this. Tank is too nerve-wracking in pugs lol

it takes practice, something you won't get unless you do it. dk is also not a great first-time m+ tank, even though people sit there and say "it heals through everything!!", it has to take the damage to heal it which is risky. if you're a bad/unexperienced tank, it will show very fast as a dk. best tank for pugging will always be bear. spam +2 and +3, learn the dungeons and how to tank, watch some videos

@@liamdavies2823 not sure it it's a stupid idea but what I have been doing is jumping into hc dungeons solo to get a feel for the rotation and CDs. Trying to pull bigger packs etc and getting a feel for the damage spikes.

@@graemepatterson yeah that's a good start just bear in mind that trash and bosses don't live too long and you might not see long enough encounters with either to properly guage things like damage spikes. m0 to +3 will allow you to see them better without giving you much hassle regarding affixes and stuff. also remember, failure early (especially as tank/heal) is common and will be how you do lots of learning. if people are rude just be rude back :D

Pugging is brutal to out 10’s. Brew was horrid. Finally got my warrior to 625 and got them easier. Seems after 4 months some are getting the hang of it. But still tough

you can tell alot of the main players in keys are away havin a break or playin other games till season 2 , there are bugger all keys atm and so many 10's are full of terrible players that have no clue or just dont bother to learn the keys and just get boosted . Looked like that was a grind mate gratz tho :D

The pain of trying to get to 2.5k as a solo DPS player this season was... unreal. I used to be a part of a guild, a guild I thoroughly enjoyed being with for over a year but people being attitude-y nasty pieces of work drove me away, so I had to give up on mythic raiding for the season and PUGing as a DPS was such a slog in M+, having to do it all with my own keys, depleting constantly in 8s and above. I almost regret leaving the toxic environment because at least there I actually got to play the game lol
