I Finally Defeat Malenia On My Own

AMAZING, AVI!💃 It's crazy how much health she has in the second phase. In fact I never even knew that she had a whole other health bar lol. I guess I never noticed when I watched other fights a couple of years ago. It's real good and solid and old-fashioned Souls'ing. Awesome evasions and timings. I *am* curious why you chose to stick with that shield? I don't think I ever saw you block her. I don't even know what shield it is lol, is it like the Grass Crest Shield for stamina regen? Just curious why you went with that instead of two-handing for extra damage :) You know what I'm gonna say - Now do it HUD-less 🙃

I will not do it without a hud, hahaha! This game has taken enough out of me. Especially considering I’m on a new play through. I most definitely used a shield for her water fowl move, the move where she slashes a hundred times. I used that one cuz it’s the lightest I can equip that still has 100 points against physical damage. I block the first two moves of the water fowl attack. Yeah, she regains so much health in phase two, and more so with every hit she lands. Ugh. Definitely had to figure out every little window to hit her. I definitely approached it in a souls-like boss. Thank you so much! Couldn’t believe I cracked it in the end.

Thank ya! I dig the Confessor armor set, the one they start with, kinda made it a point to stick with that and stay light as I can. First time using scythe in a FromSoft game and I really like it, running around delivering death, hahaha.
