The best way to recharge a depleted battery is by placing a small load on it while you low amp charge it. I use an LED trailer light that I have added eyelets to connect to the positive and negative terminals. Just place your charger on a 2 amp rate overnight, and it will be good to go as long as the cells are good.

Looks great! I bet that fitting had water in it and froze on one of those rare cold nights in Texas. Need a drain in that tank and lowest level of that air system. Don’t want rust particulate in a valve.

Yes my snap on air compressor at the shop has an auto dryer, basically drain with a one way check valve in it and it siphons the water out of the tank when the pump is running, maybe you can apply something like that here.

You may think about having several outlets & trickle chargers where you mainly park your cars. In the long run it will save you headaches and money. I used to use high end chargers but in a pinch bought the Orange Black & Decker for $20 and it’s a 12/6 volt. It’s been awesome for 10 years! My last 3 year warranty Duralast battery lasted 8 years, with the last year off the tender due to restoration or it probably would have gone 10.
